When I last posted, did I mention that I am awesome? Because, if not, I AM. Why, you ask?? BECAUSE I HAVE A LINUX HAT. IT'S BLACK AND IT HAS A PENGUIN ON THE FRONT. I RULE.

Sorry. ^_^;; Just a little excited. Dad knows what makes me happy!! Now I have something to show off in Physics tomorrow. :D Haha, I have Physics for two hours tomorrow. Why? Block scheduling. We have TAKS field testing, so tomorrow we're going to have all the odd-numbered classes, and Thursday we'll have all the even-numbered classes. And they'll be twice as long. So I have a two-hour Physics class tomorrow.

On the down side, I don't have Study Hall tomorrow. Thankfully, I don't have any homework due, so it doesn't really matter. Still, I'm gonna miss my free period!


I just got back from Yoga about two hours ago. It was, nice, but I will be sore in the morning. There was this one pose where we had to bend foreward with our legs spread apart, one behind the other, and just standing like that was already majorly stretching out my back leg. Haha, I am in such bad condition.


School has been okay. Nothing particularly exciting. Today was club picture day, big whoop. We had a Physics test today. The problems were easy; if I missed anything, it was probably the multiple choice, and I probably missed at least one or two. Oh, well. I really don't care because I am majorly kicking Curtis's butt in that class right now. He made an 82 on his major lab, whereas I got a 97. Ha! It's going to take him a while to catch up, IF he can even do so. And I beat him on the quiz the other day, too. So.. wheee!

Speaking of Curtis, we had an odd conversation yesterday. He was humming a classical song and explained to me what it was without my even asking. Then he asked me if I liked poetry. So I said, yes, so we talked about a few poets for a while. Then later he was suddenly like, "So do you write poetry?" So I answered yes, and he asked if I was planning to enter anything into Orsôrum. So I told him I was on the staff, and he repeated his question. So I said, "Yeah, probably." So then he started ranting, saying, "You're going to be biased!" even though I told him we judge the submissions anonymously, he was like, "That's what they SAY." And we went on and he was making all these weird comments about the club... @_@ The oddest thing was that I'd written a poem about him just this weekend. Umm, freaky? Courtney said he read my mind. XD

So, as I was talking to my fellow Orsôrum staffers today, I joked that I should get Curtis to join, and they actually took it seriously! o_O Oh well. I might as well give it the good old try. It would be funny if I could get him to join. XD Haha, after all, I have two hours in Physics tomorrow to nag at him and convince him!


My ego was shot down today, though. I walk into Chemistry and WHAM, there's Kathleen McDonald... wearing his letter jacket. -.- Then, after Mu Alpha Theta pictures later on, I turn around and WHAM, there's Curtis with Kathleen walking right beside him... still wearing his letter jacket. :/ Okay, so it probably means nothing (to Curtis, anyway), but still. I'm still hurt that he lends his jacket to just about every girl but never to me, even though I sit there shivering beside him in Physics often enough. ;_;


I'll be okay though. :) I'm feeling unusually good right now. It's probably the Yoga. <333


I've been thinking a lot about cosplay again. I really, really, REALLY want to go to A-kon, but I really, really, REALLY don't want it to turn into a "family outing". I'll have my permit by the time A-kon rolls around, but I'll still have to have an adult with me in the car. And even if I did manage to make it to Dallas somehow, there's still the problem of where I'd spend the night. But I really want to go... ;_____; (souma_kyo: Miyavi is going to be there!) I even got quotes on a cosplay costume from this really nice girl who does commissions. So now I'm all excited, even though I'll probably have to wait another year. ;-; (Next year I can drive without supervision!! Then lodging is the only problem left to solve.)

By the way, I'm planning to take a break from journalling, message boarding, and most of the 'net stuff for the entire month of February. I'm going to have driver's ed for two hours every weeknight except Fridays. I'll have UIL practices, competitions, and Octathlon. In short, I just won't have the time. So, I'm going to try to get all caught up with everything this week, and hopefully find some time to comment this week to let you guys know that I DO care about you. Because, I know that I've been awful bad with keeping up as of late. ~_~ (Well, I read at least once a week, but don't always comment.) But I do love you guys, honest. <333!!


Anyway. That's all from me for right now. I have to go and take a shower and then go to bed. I have UIL practice bright & early at 6:45 tomorrow morning. -.-
