she's lost in coma, where it's beautiful,
intoxicated from the deep sleep...
do you wonder what it's like,
living in a permanent imagination?
sleeping to escape reality...
but you like it like that

I have to be quick with my post because I'm leaving for yoga class in twenty minutes. I don't intend to get back online because yoga makes me sleepy, AND we're stopping by the library on the way back... so, you know where I'll be tonight. ^_~

So, with that said.. quick backtracking.

#; SUNDAY
The play was awesome!!!!!! I loved it so much. Seriously. The music was awesome, the characters rocked, the costumes were *gasp* and the decors were equally spiffarific. It was all just so cool! And, to make it even cooler, they gave a brief history of the process TUTS went through to bring the musical here to Houston. It was a pretty big deal that they managed to get it over here, and a lot of Asian-American organizations were involved. Because of all those groups joining together and making this possible, the mayor himself proclaimed January 18th, 2004 to henceforth be city-wide Asian Heritage Day. ^_____^ So mom and Deb and I were beaming, mom especially, and dad was totally uncool for a day. ;D Here's a big kudo to all my Asian friends out there, as well.

Then we went out to eat Chinese, which was nummy. My fortune cookie actually said something applicable, too; "Frowning keeps others away, so smile today." So, I went around smiling the rest of the day. ^__^ Yes, it was a good day. Would've been better if it had not involved my sister going with us, but no such luck. But.. mehh. :/ It was still cool.

#; MONDAY
It was like the opposite of the day before.. it SUCKED. -.- Basically, I'd asked mom to take me to the library, then went to the website to check to see if it would even be open. No such luck. So, I went downstairs to tell her, and found that she was in dad's study. So, I walked back out to let them finish their conversation, but as I was sitting on the stairs waiting I could hear them and realized they were talking about me. Mom was saying how I'm "SO immature" and "I have no self-discipline" and "I don't accept this & that" and yada yada yada. Basically in her opinion I can't do anything right. So, naturally, that really fucked up my day.. I was like, "Yeah, thanks for RUINING my MLK Holiday." -.- But it's not like they gave a shit.

So I was boredish the rest of the day. I'd had all these great plans but didn't really feel like doing anything anymore. I just message boarded, made icons, chatted and... yeah, that was about it.

#; TODAY
It was... mmm, so-so. Not too eventful. I did a bunch of Pre-Cal in Study Hall, then finished it up in Chem. In English we started Julius Caesar, didn't get to read a part yet. And I went by Mr. Dunnagan's room to ask when Octathlon starts and I swear he was going to hug me when he realized I'm only a Sophomore.. apparently they need a lot of participants. o_o Anyway, it starts in February. Whoo. In Physics, Mrs. S explained Electric Potential and then finished up talking about the major lab. Even Curtis got confused 'cause I heard him saying, "Wow, I lost her ages ago." That was a major ego boost for me, 'cause I did get it. :D:D:D We got a quiz back from last week in Pre-Cal, and I got a 70.. then we took another one in class and graded them ourselves, and I got another 70. -_- And we have a test TOMORROW. *death* The only consolation is that Curtis only made a 70 on today's quiz, too.

And uhh, that's it.

Namaste!
