well, i tried to post last night, but it didn't send through (stupid blurty site went down or somethin), so here's my long-overdue update. if you didn't already know, my computer is royally f**ked up, the backlight for my lcd went out last week and its an 800 dollar repair. NOT COOL!!! but easter is this weekend and my birthday's tomorrow, so that stuff has been good. i like stuff. you have stuff, can you buy me some stuff? haha...oh so glorious.
so this weekend i've hung out with rachel (swing dancing, hell yea!!!), went to wel-farm and got stuff from the chinese grocery, chilled with wesley, went to savers, got stuff for my birthday (whoop), saw the ladykillers (yay for dark comedies!!!) and um...well just done fun stuff.
oh, i guess i oughta show you this:

that's right, i'm the proud owner of a brand new cartilage piercing!!! oh man is it awesome...it doesn't hurt, but it's a bit sore...i didn't sleep very well last night (i'd roll over on my left ear and wake up), but it's so cool. my mom saw it and was like, "oh my god, you got one of those piercing things..." hahaha. way too funny. my parents were a little stunned that i actually did it at first but they're cool with it. damn, it looks good....
so last night we went out to mangola's (the best italian restaurant EVER)... as wes said, it reminds me of the restaurant at the beginning of "the godfather." it was delectable as always (yes, i will have seconds...or leftovers...of my linguini carbonnara). and not only was the food great, the atmosphere great, our waiter great (everything's always great)...but their new pianist is amazing, and he's this amazing little old italian man who's either blind or has poor vision, but a B-E-A-UTIFUL voice. he played happy birthday and belted it out while they brought my tiramizu over to me...and then he came over with an accordion and did it again...pavarotti better watch his back, because this guy was the shiznit.
then i got up for church this morning, which was good as always...packed for easter. it's a good thing we didn't secure easter at the creek this year bc it's pouring rain...as i speak, or type i guess. soooooo, now i'm waiting to eat my easter lunch and then drive back to A&M while i listen to my new ZAO cds. yay!!!
