man, i am just in a fight club kinda mood. the book is so freakin cool...it should be required reading. i hope that in 20 years it will have worked it's way into high school literature.

so far project mayhem has gone very smoothly. the haircut went extremely well (i've been told it looks nice) and the dying worked out nicely, even if you don't initially recognize it. and the final surprise of PM, well i went ahead and did it. which means that i messed it up a bunch but it looks ok now. you'll notice it. and if it disturbs you, don't worry. i'm never going to do it again.

the poetry slam tonight was pretty cool...i read two poems that you can find online at my site, 'monday morning commute' and 'employee of the month.' they were well recepted and i got really nervous up there but pulled through. plus, a bunch of my friends came out and supported me (thanks guys!). it was very nice. however, the randomly selected judges were crap. oh well, i had fun doing it and performing. plus i got my picture taken by a bunch of people (like aggieland yearbook and i think the batt, among others...) if you see me in the paper tell me bout it, because i'll probably miss it.

in other news...now i can't wait for monday night. bring on the concert, it's gonna be awesome. i feel like i should be writing now, but i don't think i can come up with anything. maybe i'll go watch part of fight club.

does anybody else feel like people whine too much about how "their people" are neglected, overlooked, and subjected to the horror of being a minority in america? i'm no bigot or anything (go read employee of the month...it should give you an idea of what i think about racism), but i'm frickin sick of people complaining (especially about how they only get black history "month"...where's white history month?). ok, well it's time for me to get off of my soapbox, before someone comes up and says "that's wrong..."

screw those people too.
