11:15 pm - Stupidity
I could not find another word.

Okay, I'm going to give a shot at the G-MAT. I'm going to convert this blog into a prep record of sorts.

I have a feeling this will get me no-where.

What the hell, as long as it's a stupid idea, I'm game to give this a try.

When did I lose my sense of purpose?
Can I regain what's lost inside?
Why do I feel like I deserve this?
Why does my pain look like my pride?

3:40 pm - Of Beren and Luthien
Then sudden Felagund there swaying
Sang in answer a song of staying,
Resisting, battling against power,
Of secrets kept, strength like a tower

11:31 am - No goodbyes
It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope

Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry

I'll come back
When you call me

No need to say goodbye

5:19 pm - And the lines ran through my mind
And the waitress is practicing politics
As the businessmen slowly get stoned

Yes, theyre sharing a drink they call loneliness
But its better than drinkin alone

Its a pretty good crowd for a saturday
And the manager gives me a smile

cause he knows that its me theyve been comin to see
To forget about life for a while

“Who is going to tell? you?

Laila tapped her foot. “Tell your secret to the wind, but don’t blame it for telling the trees”

Tariq smiled, the one eyebrow arched” who said that”?

“Khalil Gibran”

6:40 pm - Makes sense ..to me at least
I don't need no one to tell me about heaven
I look at my daughter, and I believe.

I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth
I can see the sunset and I perceive

Even if you think the flame has died, there's at least one lyric that'll hit that last hot spot, and then you'll find yourself as fucked as you were the day you lied and said you never wanted to see her again.

1:58 pm - And I completely agree with Mr.Tolstoy on this :)
The Brahmins say that in their books there are many predictions of times in which it will rain. But press those books as strongly as you can, you can not get out of them a drop of water. So you can not get out of all the books that contain the best precepts the smallest good deed.

*Ahem* Belated Happy New Year everyone- hope you had something to celebrate about :)

“… I wondered if that was how forgiveness budded, not with the fanfare of epiphany, but with pain gathering it's things, packing up, and slipping away unannounced in the middle of the night.”

4:00 pm - Blurty
An odd post on a friend's blog brought me back to this page after what seems like decades. There was a time in what now seems a different world when this page and others like this throbbed with a life source of their own. They were melting pots of thought, creativity, humor, emotions and expressions. Not altogether different from an anthology of biographies, faceless people had once connected, competed, laughed and cried with each other on these proving grounds.

I'm not sure of what happened then and who brought the silence, possibly multiple forms of social networking sites and other new streams of web products of a similar nature had a fair share in moving the focus away from these pages, possibly there was nothing more left to write about, possibly-the definitions of everyday life and of existence changed , and the silence came on.

It came on with the certainty and the decisiveness of an eagle swooping down to hunt prey, having done that, it stayed.

An adieu to those who are leaving these blogs, thank you for sharing yours thoughts and your lives with us, it was one hell of a journey together through these pages and I for one have enjoyed every moment of it.

To the very few who are still left behind- Thank you for being there, I still go through your blogs if not on a regular basis, and I enjoy reading through your posts even if I dont comment regularly.

I for one will continue to keep posting, possibly not on a regular basis, but as and when things appear out of the blue horizon which require mention and a note for memory's sake, I will return to haunt these empty halls :)

Some quaint melodies can yet be composed, before we merge gradually with the eventual quiet.

We sat together the forest and I
Merging into silence
Until only the forest remained

1:49 am - THE GARDEN
IKE a skein of loose silk blown against a wall
She walks by the railing of a path in Kensington Gardens,
And she is dying piece-meal
of a sort of emotional anemia.

And round about there is a rabble
Of the filthy, sturdy, unkillable infants of the very poor.
They shall inherit the earth.

In her is the end of breeding.
Her boredom is exquisite and excessive.

She would like some one to speak to her,
And is almost afraid that I
will commit that indiscretion.

12:09 am - On a sleepless night...once upon a time
It has been many years since I felt it, the careless laughter exuding from the innocence of my heart. It has been years since I felt it, the surge to live from a minute only to the other in total rejection of anything beyond. It has been many years since I felt it, the strength to choose one side of either and stand for a set of beliefs.

It has been many years, since I felt anything.

I barely feel human any more.

Blue mountains to the north of the walls,
White river winding about them;
Here we must make separation
And go out through a thousand miles of dead grass.

Mind like a floating wide cloud,
Sunset like the parting of old acquaintances
Who bow over their clasped hands at a distance.
Our horses neigh to each others
as we are departing.

Taking leave of a friend ``

Title/Description

This is the beginning of your day
Life is more intricate than it seems

Be yourself along the way
Living through the spirit of your dreams

Living- I'd like to re-iterate, not "existing".

Enough philosphy- I'll get back to work now.

1:38 am - A mid-monsoon's dream
Laid to the river
Midsummer, I waved

A "V" of black swans
On with hope to the grave

And though Red September
With skies fire-paved

I begged you appear
Like a thorn for the holy ones

12:04 pm - Something from the 55 word fiction blog
They were the perfect couple until that day in November when he went out to get some sweets and never came home.
She waited for him to come back. He never did.
He lived on in her memories. And in a place far away, as someone else’s husband and a father of two.
