For anyone who hasn't already read it:
Here is some important info about Blurty's new policy regarding RPGs.
This paragraph in particular is probably of most interest (to me, if not to anyone else):
You have until November 18th to ensure that you have the disclaimers posted
in the proper places on your journal/community. After that date,
non-compliant journals are subject to suspension, until the owner of the
journal/community contacts the Abuse Team and agrees to post the disclaimer.
I guess that means that any celeb RPGs without the disclaimer after 18th November can be reported to Abuse. Hahaha.

I was reading journals and in another community role players' ages and TOS and American laws vs. the laws of the land where the user resides came up. That gave my sweet friend an idea for his paper and he is going around finding out nationalities and ages of the people in all kinds of RPG's--with an emphasis on fake celeb RPG's. He has no polling rights here so he asked me to find out about the other side (us) for him. I will delete the poll in a few days' time, but till then I'd like to ask for patience and participation. I am not asking for ages as this is a Blurty TOS compliant community.

So, free accounts are only allowed 10 friends.
what a shame for anyone RPing....
Ive seen several complaints along the lines of
'how dare you put a friends limit? I cant RP properly with only 10 friends - you're sooooo unfair"
made me laugh anyway.
hopefully that, along with the fact that under 18s will get chucked off, will slow the increase in annoying celeb RPs.

Blurty is now deleting journals of free users under 18.
This community is still 18+
If I find any members here are under 18, they will be removed, and reported to abuse for violating TOS.

Feh. I usually have some pity for people with problems in the support area. Although this is good, because it's some one having problems validating their celeb RPG journal... awww. ::soup nazi impression:: NO HELP FOR YOU!
Really, if they can't work through validating their e-mail, how can they expect to write with any intelligence whatsoever?
There have been a lot of people having problems getting their e-mails, I have a feeling that the reason is that they're all teeny-boppers on AOL who can't get e-mails like that through the filters mommy and daddy have set on their accounts. So, hey, maybe there is some greater force trying to keep blurty a vaugly more mature place.
