I'm the biggest dork. [13 Sep 2003|09:31pm]

I swear. All this fantasy fiction I'm getting into nowadays leads me to believe I subconsciously have a serious issue with reality. Because I, ladies and gents, am a huge nerd.

I'm about 3 chapters from finishing Harry Potter. This is the longest I've gone without reading it. *lol* I literally woke up, had breakfast, then started reading. To all other Potter fans, don't give it away but I hope Sirius don't die. (I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach that within these next chapters my hopes will be squashed.)

I joined an LotR fan fiction community a couple days ago. *lol* Once I get time I suppose should start reading those too. After Potter. And D'Souza (conservatism book I promised Rob I'd read).

But one thing does keep me in touch with real life, and thats John Mayer. Bless that man. =) And of course, Starbucks. Iced Caramel Macchiato's always do the trick.

Anywho, Friday was boring. There wasn't a TARs meeting after school which left me uncomfortable and lonely. I'd been looking forward to it all week. Two tests in English, both easy. Davis went on a rampage again, insisting that all the "think they're smart kids" should teach the class about protein diffusion. Whenever they would ask her "is that right?" she'd be like "I dunno you tell me." It was just way time consuming and somewhat confusing. But we got it all straightened out in the end after she taught it with about 17 long words that were highly unnecessary. *shrug*. Choir was easy. There was a junior class meeting so half the class went to that, leaving the remainder of us to have a free day. I signed up for Alvez's Sacred Music Group on Thursday after All-State, only because I felt bad. Now I severely regret it. I don't wish to come to school an hour early and sing sacred music (which he wrote, by the way) with a pimple faced loser and about 10 other people I don't know. Choir geeks just ain't my style.

I got my JM poster in the mail today. *yay* I showed my mom and she's like "Why didn't you get one with his face? You can't even see it, he's turned around..." I'm like "Mom, his face isn't the point. Its more about than that." *sigh*

Anyway. I love Cait. We are talking. She's the shizzle. =) Other than that, I'm out for the night. Toodles. (*lol*)
