A - Act your age - I'm 15, but am often mistaken (in RL) for being 12. O.O Have you any idea how depressing that is?!? Online, I've passed easily for 18 (yeah, I lied, but they were scary... then they commented I was young for my maturity :P)...

C - Chore you hate - Scraping food off the plates and putting them in the dishwasher. See, I'm too lazy to actually pull the dishwasher tray out, so I just slide the plates and bowls in, but I *always* get disgusting icky food juice on my hands. *pouts* Dirty dishes are revolting.

E - Essential make up item - I don't wear that much makeup (I'm naturally beautiful *g*) but I almost always wear lipgloss.

O - Overnight hospital stays - When I was born (Mum was pretty sick), when I had my tonsils out (they screwed up... I was spewing blood for days) and when I had pneumonia in Las Vegas while on holiday there.
P - Phobia - Drowning. I love swimming. I'm just terrified of being in a car or bus that falls off a bridge.

X - X-rays you've had - Weeeell, let's see... I had a jaw x-ray for when I was about to get braces (long time ago... all gone now :P) and numerous chest x-rays for my asthma (it shows all the gunk that clogs up your lungs). I also had 2 cat scans in Las Vegas when I had pneumonia (they thought I had appendicitis. But I didn't)
Y - Yummy food you make - *depressed* Lately anything I cook turns out bad. Still. I make good pasta sauce.

Phwaor....
I have been *so* busy lately.
I have my first dancing comp of the year on Sunday! Eeeeee... It's in Wagga Wagga, however. Yes, it is a real place. If you're wondering where you've heard it before, that's because Gilderoy Lockart talks about the 'Wagga Wagga Werewolf' in Chamber of Secrets. Wagga Wagga, however, is a five hour drive away. It's a very long story, but basically, there are only two clubs of my particular type of dancing in Victoria, and we don't get along. To put it nicely. Nobody really knows why (classic Montague/Capulet rivalry). So we always drive to NSW for our competitions.
Anyway, it's the first comp for the year, and I haven't been to this particular comp for two years, which was quite disappointing because I went all 6 times before that (it's annual).
Anyway, sick of talking about physie.
Do you know, yesterday, during Food for Entertaining, a girl in front of me said to her friend "I'm so not hungry, I just ate some lumberjack cake..."
And then, her friend laughs and says "God, that sounds so Australian, doesn't it, you know, 'lumberjack'..." Her other friend laughs. "Yeah."
And the problem with this, was that they were SERIOUS.
How can you *not* know that a lumberjack is a very Canadian thing? Australian doesn't HAVE lumberjacks! By the time the poms shipped the convicts out, sawmills had been invented! (well, almost.)

I am a A Copper Dragon!
Hey, I took the http://dragonhame.com online Inner Dragon quiz and found out I am a Copper Dragon on the inside.

I'm baaaaaaack!
Well, actually, no, I'm not.
Our internet download limit ran out abruptly and I could only come online very, very occaisionally (I made it twice in a week) just to check what was happening.
In that time, I realised that a. the amount of time I was spending online was excessive b. that I really, really didn't need to spend that much time online, c. that my life needed a little more living, and d. that nobody really gave a stuff about me anyway and the world of HPU etc went along quite happily without me.
Breena was the *only* person who noticed I'd even gone. And she's got all kinds of stuff going on. *huggles* (I'm thinking of you!)
I got my report... pretty much as I expected. Got my Maths recommendation today, they recommended Methods AND General, or Higher Level IB... o.O I won't do it though.

My speakers are screwed up. They jumble everything. *pokes her speakers* Pfft.
I finished HP5. 19 hours from when I got it to when I finished it, but I wasn't reading the whole time, we went out for lunch, we had to go check on the restored piano (it looks brilliant! All smooth and shiny and sounds really good too) and Jan and Dan and Tessa came around for dinner so I had to hang around being polite and playing with 2 year old Tessa until they went. Only then did I finally get to start reading properly, read until 3:48am when I finished. [Spoilers!] I didn't cry very much, I was surprised, but I kind of held onto the hope that he wasn't really dead, just hoping that he would pull the curtain back and jump through, but it was a beam of *red* light that hit him on the chest, not green, so what was the spell then?
It's the kind of horrible, tragic sad incident... not one that I can read and think ohh that's so sad the poor person and cry my eyes out for like I thought I would (like I sort of did for Cedric :$ ) It's a hollow, empty sadness, the type of one that if it happened to you you'd want to scream and throw things and make it go away, not sit in a corner and cry about it.

But... TONKS! Aaaah! Talk about kickass! *worships Tonks* Metamorphmagi! Now *she* is cool. I want hair like that! Bubblegum pink and spikey... and then long and tomato read... *nods* Coolness.
What I really like about the book, though, was Harry. I could relate to him... the part where he was telling the truth about Voldemort but nobody believed him. So very similar to something that happened to me. *throws things* Stupid people! It's the *truth*, goddamnit, why can't you SEE??
*breathes* Ahem.
Fred and George were funny, they really made the book special...
Favourite Characters:
1. Tonks (a kickass girl... exactly what the HP series needed)
2. Fred and George (always funny... *worship*)
3. Hermione (I'm too much like her... it's not healthy. >.< Especially the drawing-up of revision timetables)
5. Lupin (So much bad stuff happened to him, but he's still there, still fighting)
6. Young Lily Evans (hehe... she told James she wouldn't go out with him if it was a choice between him and the giant squid! Go Lily!)
7. Young James/Sirius (how funny were they?! But they were so mean to Snape... still... *drool* Arrogance is damn sexy at times...)
The Verdict: Loved it. Not a kid's book anymore though, so dark, too deep. They'd probably still like the movie though I guess, but I don't know if they'll want to make one - it might be too dark and serious for them to think kids will go see. Maybe, I don't know.
Anyway. Loved it.

And we are here this evening to bring you an official health warning from the World Health Organization.
People all over the world are keeling over from anxiety, anticipation and extreme excitement on this day. Alternatively, there have been a number of cases of people exploding. The expected number of casualties cannot yet be calculated due to the uncertainty over the exact levels of hype in the atmosphere. However, there is little doubt the levels are going to be extremely high, higher than ever seen before. To use that old saying - the sky is the limit.
WHO recommends avoiding all contact, both direct and indirect, with afflicted persons, including conversations held using services such as IRC or MSN, as it is highly probable this extreme excitement is contagious.
A cure is on it's way, nicknamed "OotP", and is due to be released to the Australian public at 9:01am on Saturday the 21st of June. However, this 'cure' is largely made up of the very cause of the illness and many experts are saying it is likely to increase the hysteria rather than subdue it.
Only time will tell. Until then, watch out.
