Heya I had fun this weekend. We went to the Riverfest and I got this little touch lamp! ^_^ It has unicorns one it! -lol- Go figure... ^_^ I was getting really ticked off at this one game though!! I played it six times and my papa played four times and we didn't win crap!!!! That was not very kewl, in fact it is the very antithesis of kewl!!!! =( There were fireworks though!! I love the ones that make a really loud sound!! Those are the best!
There were a couple bands there too. Ugh, there was this one lady...bleh!!! She was horrible!!! She sucked on ice...and that's all the slander I'll be giving her today... ^_^;;; There was another band, they were like my age I'm guessing. They were ok, I forgot the name of their band though. The drummer could improve...hehehehe, he kept messing up the beat, he dropped his sticks, and in the first song a part of his drum fell off.. My papa didn't like them too much, he didn't think they were ...er...the best...^_^;;;
This other local band was awesome though! They were called Five29. Papa and I liked them a lot. One of them is an art teacher too!!! ^_^ This week we'll be going to the Rotary Gardens!!! ^_^ I love that place!!! It's beautiful, breathtaking actually. When I get older, I want to buy a summer cottage with lot's of land. Then I'll have a pond in the back with weeping willow trees and a huge garden. I'm even planning on getting a horse!!! ^_^ *sighs* If only...
Oh yeah, I wrote a poem and I posted it on fictionpress!!! It's describing something that most people have seen! I even wrote about it in this entry! What is it? Dun Dun Dun!!!!!!!!!
Flowers of Zeus
They were born of lightning Which struck down icy clouds That held all the infant stars. The light poured forth like a waterfall From the mouth of the mother sky. Crashes of thunder resonated From this battle of forces, And yet, no on trembled. Instead, they marveled For these blooming flowers Had stolen the rainbow's delight. The colorful embers rained down Disappearing into the stillness. As the smoke cleared It seemed the magic gone. But wondering eyes found That the mother has sewn More diamonds into Her dark silk hair.
That's it, tell me if you like it!!!!

!Anime! It seems I haven't updated my journal in a while. I don't really know why... I watched Miyazaki's Spirited Away last night. It was great. I dunno why, but I like anime characters with big eyes for some reason...don't ask. I just think they're prettier or something. In Miyazaki's animes they have smaller eyes, and that's about the only thing that i wish I could change. Other than that it was an amazing movie! The background art, the music, all of it was wonderful! I really want to know if Chihiro and Haku will meet again... It just sort of left you hanging on that bit. But it lets my imagination run so that's a good thing.
It may seem silly, but I want to be an animator when I grow up. I want to have my own company and work with all of my friends and stuff. I have all these ideas for shows and movies already, just waiting to be released, but for now they stay on paper...or in my mind... ^_^;;; Sonia, my new aunt, likes anime too! She says it's really popular in the Philipenes, and not just with the children. People at her work will try to skip out on overtime because they can't miss one of their anime. Then the next day at work they talk about it and everything. -lol- It's nice to know I'm not the only weird person... ^_^;; Anime is just so different than most of our cartoons, like the fact it has a good plot and complex characters that can change and grow and learn. ^_____________________^ I don't think I'll ever stop liking it.
Sonia and I talked a lot, mostly about anime, but I also showed her my yearbook. She's pretty kewl. She likes to chat online too, so we have to share the computer... ^_^ hehehehehehe Well, I don't really know what to say now, guess I should go.
