I should be asleep. But I'm up, checking on my Neopets account. :P Why? Because I was trusting enough to give my birthday to another person who added me on MSN. He asked everything, even the year. I suddenly caught on that he was going to try to get into my mail account. At first I wasn't worried, because I don't use my Hotmail account, but then I saw that to retrieve/reset the password, you need to enter your location, not your birthday.
And in Mail.com, they enter a birthday and an email address where to send the email to. The question is, if the guy is from GFAQs, how did he get my email address? He certainly doesn't seem bright enough to look at my website. Oh well.
(As I was typing this I suddenly got a stroke of genius: I'm going to change my birthday at my email. It seems like he hasn't tried getting into it yet.)
So there. After this, I will rest sorta easy. On to other stuff (link via Deej): Click. Astig grabe. Technology is certainly moving.
Also, we presented our thesis proposal today. This will come out funny, but I was... nervous. Really really nervous. It was just a presentation, but I was nervous. I suppose it's because I sort of know that presentation would make me or break me -- something like that. I mean... this is the first presentation I've ever made in front of an ST class. Supposedly people who will be around me, and actually, they should be the people that has been around me for my whole college life if only I had taken up ST and not hedged around. In that presentation, whatever I come across as (know-it-all, trying-hard, arrogant, whatever), that will be the "label". Before, yes, I've been a little in ST classes, but not really. I was just visiting Ellen and Trin, and I was in the sidelines. I was... just there, a nonblock (which seems to be a not-very-popular thing in my ST batchmates) student. But taking that-- that stage (so to speak) and presenting something to the class is putting myself up for a sort of review.
It's probably unconscious (the assessment of Angela Sabas, nonblock ST student), but it's still there. And that's what makes me nervous. Because I care about what these people think. Because I know I can come off as snobby. Because... a lot of becauses, definitely.

I went in the lab and two SA's were there-- one was, uh, a veteran, and the other was new-- I hadn't seen her before, in any case. The other one was typing something on the computer. I gave in my ID to the guy (the "older" SA) since it was him that I knew but she took it and gave me a tag that said "Internet Use Only".
I had to use my diskettes; I was going to type our related literature for our thesis proposal. I stopped and asked her what the "Internet Use Only" meant, to find out if there was no disk drive.
She told me, "Walang board."
Ha? Walang... board? What board?
She motioned with her fingers the action of typing on a keyboard. "Walang type."
OMG. Wha-?
My eyes probably betrayed me, because she turned to look at the guy at the same time the guy whirled around, probably also in confusion at what she said. He laughed and told me there was no disk drive. Ohkay. I got my tag replaced and left for my computer-with-disk-drive-and-definitely-with-a-keyboard.

You know what, I uploaded the last few journal entries to the wrong folder. So... expect broken links. I will check again and undo the damage I've done tomorrow. :P
The Thesis Topic is going along nicely. Will email and set an appointment thingie with Rachel Roxas, and talk to Sir Barts as well. Tomorrow, I must get my picture taken for the resume as well as pick up my transcript. I'm dreading to see those 3 0.0's. No, I mean 4 0.0's. *bangs head* Ah well.
Successfully installed Divine Divinity! The graphics is really good! It's 3D and yet not boxy like NWN. Wheeee. I haven't started it "officially". Uhm what else? I am at a loss for new layouts. Farf. I am itching to change my layout. I still like my current layout lots, but I think it's time to change it. Or something.
Am staying a while. Life goes on. And I forgot what I was going to write in this thing. Hmmmm. Oh, I bought a new shell for my 5210. Hehehe. It's not too bad, I suppose. ;) Ta.

I'm not working yet. We're going for practicum this summer, though. I'm taking up Software Technology.
2. How many other jobs have you had and where?
None. LOL. Why am I doing this Friday Five?
3. What do you like best about your job?
Well, what I like best for my COURSE is... the programming. No, really. I like programming. Yes, that makes me a geek, but I actually really like programming. The learning, the, uh, excitement of creating something.
4. What do you like least about your job?
Ay nako. The debugging, definitely.
5. What is your dream job?
Web developer and designer. Writer. :) And homemaker. I know this is an unpopular choice, but I want it that way. Actually... I think the only reason I did this Friday Five is because... I saw this question.
