: I think I'm going through another destructive phase
Has anyone heard of HIPAA? Apparently my doctor's office hasn't!
Last Tuesday my doctor's office left a message for me with my dad saying they had my test results and to call them. So I called them Wednesday (test results were normal, btw) and while I was on the phone told them not to call my parent's house anymore and gave them my cell number. They agreed. The same day, I went in to get medicine for a UTI. They gave me the prescription but said they would send the test to the lab to make sure they were treating me for the right thing. Then on Friday, they not only called my house, but proceeded to tell my mother that my test results did in fact come out positive for the UTI and that I was on the right medication! So I was a little irritated, but whatever, I could get over it... except that when I called to office today to make them aware of the mistake and make sure my number got changed they were totally rude! I hate stupid people, especially stupid people who underestimate young people. So now I'm making it my mission to get the bitch at the front desk fired, or at least cause a disturbance with the Department of HHS.
They finally cleaned the bathrooms at SNU yesterday. It had gotten to the point where the showers, sinks, and toilets weren't even marginally usable- I had to shower at Stephanie's apartment on Monday. I think I scared her roommates... I couldn't help it though, insanity was my body's defense mechanism for total exhaustion. I didn't get to sleep at all Sunday night- oops. It was fun though. I spent most of the day at the beach with Jessica, then went down to La Mirada and chilled with Paul for a while. We decided to go back to snu for a while and ended up chilling there til around 2:30 when we realized there was no way we could possibly handle being around Lisette's little friend Nick, aka "Don't Answer", anymore. Damn, what an annoying man. We got back to Paul's around 3, and I left around 4 and decided to just go back to my house since it was closer to work (where I had to be 2 1/2 hours later. I figured at that point sleep would do more harm than good and just stayed up all night. Lamb wasn't letting me sleep anyway- he's been starved for attention lately. Poor Lamb.
So by Monday night, after 8 hours of work on Monday, I was pretty exhausted. I managed to stop by Sepi's for Nick's birthday thing for a little bit though, which was strange considering I haven't been there since I got them busted for serving to minors. Then I went back to SNU and passed out, expecting to get 12 hours of sleep and be all caught up. Yet I barely got 8 hours. Why you ask? FUCKING BLUE CORN CHIPS. We all love blue corn chips- they're fantastic, Stephanie and I even made a CD about them- but are they really necessary at 8 am? Apparently Stephanie and Lisette think so- they tore apart the room for an hour starting at 8 am looking for them! Lisette was late for work, Steph was late for class, all because they had to have some damn chips. Nevermind Steph had some at her apartment which is FIVE MINUTES AWAY- oh no, they were too lazy to walk up there! After listening to them for an hour Jessica and I couldn't fall back asleep. We were not happy, to say the least. We went to Zuma for the day, which cheered us up a little, but next time Lisette has been up late and wants to sleep in I'm totally pouring water over her head at 8 am.
I had dinner with my mother and sister and the W last night. Why does my mother ask questions she doesn't want to know the answer to? It was quite traumatizing... thank God the drinks were strong! Since I was still exhaused from Sunday I passed out right after dinner. I didn't sleep to well though since there was a party at snu. I'm gonna have to rest up tonight, cuz tomorrow Jessica and I are going to Wild Rivers. We're trying to complete everything on our summer list- only a month and a half left and so much to do! And so many evil things too... note to world: Jessica + Andree = dangerous. The things we come up with... if you've pissed either of us off lately you better watch out!
