i've been extremely bad about updating this thing.

so much on my mind today.

i really hate my job at the moment. i get no support from the people who are supposed to support me and all my customers do is scream at me or get cross with me. i so need to finish my new degree program so i can do something i'd like to do for once.

i've got a lot of travelling to do. this june, marc's coming down for my birthday and we're going to charleston for a few days. in september i'm off to chicago for a couple of days with him. in january or february, we're going to try and get over to the uk so i can see my friends. i was invited to come down to australia for a few weeks in january. and in october of next year i'm going to be a bridesmaid in my friend, caren's wedding. so i'm off to california for that. the best part is i think we'll be able to scoot over to las vegas for another few days.

it's weird living so apart from marc. a continent is literally between us. maybe now that the pressure of my job is getting too much for me i'll just start looking in the anchorage area. couldn't hurt.

oh and i must really stop buying things. i've ended up purchasing tan towels!

1:49 pm - a little introduction
since everyone else seems to be doing one, i thought i would too...

my name is sara. i'm 27 (28 in 2 months) and i'm at the moment living in atlanta. i've been with my boyfriend, marc, for 2 1/2 years. he's a directional well planner (for halliburton oil) and a state of alaska employee, so it looks like i'll probably end up moving there at least for a while.

i'm employed in probably one of the world's most boring occupations... i'm an independent insurance agent. i like it but i'm working on dual degrees in philosophy and law. i think i'd like to probably teach college or stay in insurance but move on to being an underwriter.

i think i've sufficently put you all to sleep now! :D
