12:46p	How to effectively keep reindeer from gnawing on your windowsills: a basic guide for homeowners Yesterday was a good day. I spent most of it with Jess, we made a collage (using illustrations from an 1863 science textbook, an 1898 book about Africa, a book on old typography, and a monograph on the treatment of head injuries during the Thirty Years War), had some Indonesian food (homemade, what, do you think there's a freakin' Indonesian restaurant in freakin' Allentown? Actually we've got damn near everything else) and otherwise kept ourselves quite amused. Jess's chinchillas are doing well, as are my rats & mice. The day before, I went to Goodwill and found a really nice yunomi (Japanese tea cup) and some extremely hard-to-find records, most notably the self-titled 1979 album by the Flying Lizards. All for a total of $1.25! That's pretty much all that's notable... (1 Comment | Comment on this)
