tired. and tired again.
i haven't updated in eight trillion years, but i've been busy and the computer hasn't exactly been the most enjoyable place for me to be lately. i seem to get bored easily ::shrugs::
this vacation hasn't been very restful. i feel more pooped than when i started! i've been driving back and forth so much, i guess i spent most of the two weeks in the car. xmas was good, i can't remember if i wrote anything about it before. prolly not. i got another pink suede coat. my mum gave me the money and krystalyn gave me a discount! she's the bestest ;) i got some new student teaching clothes and some jeans which i really really needed. savannah had a 104 degree fever on xmas eve so she didn't feel very well on xmas. that sucked because she's 3, she should enjoy it. so she didn't feel up to opening presents and her presents lasted her for 3 or 4 days. so now she thinks that it's supposed to last that long and she thinks presents are hidden all over the house. the other day she unwrapped a box poppop had wrapped to sit a santa claus statue on for decoration. she thought santa had come with more presents :-p
daikiri is still sick and jessie had to leave to take her driving course in md, so i've had to drive back and forth most days this week to see my family and do the things i'd promised to do with them and then get back up here and take care of daikiri. we finally got her to the doctor, thank goodness. they gave her some medicine and i think it helps a little bit. i hope she'll be better soon.
today i got up and did i deep cleaning of everything. so it's nice and clean now. daikiri's parents came and brought some fruit and things that we needed, but i only saw them for like 2 seconds because i was running late. i had to go downstate and get the stuff daddy had bought me for the dorm and then i had to meet my mom at her house so that we could go shopping. we went to sears and she got a new vacuum and some paint. she's on vacation this week and she's going to do all kinds of stuff to the house. she's repainting the spare bedroom and we're getting a bed to put up there, finally. after sears we went to roses to look for new placemats for the dining room table. i saw this hideous cow nightgown, it's bright pink with pink cows all over it. my mom bought it for me even though it's the ugliest thing in the world and she says she wants a pic of me wearing it to prove that i actually put it on :-p
after we finished shopping at food lion we put all the food away and i put together her new vacuum. then it was time for me to leave agaaaiiiin and come back to newark. so i got here at like 12 am and there were no spots in the metered lot!! i had to haul all the groceries and the box of stuff from daddy all the way here from the parking lot. i thought my hand was going to fall off. so now it's super late and daikiri's in bed, but i'm stiiiill up. i need some sleep. but i knoooow she's going to wake me up at like 8 or 9 in the morning. darn her, she wakes up too early!!
so that's all for now, sorry there wasn't anything terribly interesting, but the past two weeks have more or less been a hassle. maybe i can rest when classes start? doubtful. lol.
