Today, I left paradise for hell. Governor's School has taught me so much about life and so much about my life. So much, in fact, that I cried even before I left the streets of Old Salem...

I will keep in touch with all of those people who affected my life, which is basically people I met and got to know. And now, I am home. Lawd, lawd I am home.

My mom found a lot of piano books and I'm all "Yay!" because I can learn how to play now!!

I am at the Governor's School in Winston-Salem right now, and man is it grand.

In the library, there are books.

And we played improv all of 1st Period.

It was AWESOME!!!

Well, I am going to have to go, because it is time for a little luncheon, and then a little field trip to Reynola House!!! THOSE BUSES SURE DO FLY! :D

It's almost that time... 6 DAYS!! Then I go to Governor's School West. No no no, don't all cry at once, heh...

Anyways, let's see... For once in my life I feel like I'm not an outcast of society. I think I've integrated well... and I'm fairly bummed.

The JHS Class of '03 will be outta here in a month, and it's sad seeing people whom I've grown up with since Grade 1 going off without me. I feel that next year will be a calm in the winds of growing up.

8:59pm: *le sigh* I'm pooped like poop.
My weekend was crap! To whomever reads this, like, it sucked Oo;.

Let's see... My relatives came down, which was a plus, because my uncle is like a big brother to me, and my young cousin looks up to me. He said on Saturday "When I grow up I want to be just like you". It nearly brought a tear to my eye.

In work-related news, I'm really ticked off. With family down, you should be able to visit, right? Wrong. I was supposed to leave at 8 Saturday night, and I left at 10. On Sunday, it was supposed to be until 2, but they wanted to hold me AFTER 2. Conspiracy? Survey says, "DING DING DING!"

Speaking of Family Feud, digital cable is awesome, and it's a must if you stay at home like moi. I like the TV Land, BBC America, and Science channels, personally. And, last but not least, Game Show channel!

Anyhoo, I'm gonna go practice my bass like a good little child.

6:59am: Back from the Fayetteville
Well, the Orchestra went to Festival on Tuesday, and we got straight superiors. It was a happy time. I was pretty happy on this trip, when usually I feel utterly depressed an isolated from the rest of the group. Our crazed bus driver took us upon the "scenic route" and got off 40 through Burgaw. So, it took us longer to get home.

This rain is getting a little repeatitive... But I know that soon the sun will come out in a few days. Until then, I shall keep playing "Sonne" by Rammstein. ((For that reason, and the reason that it's a catchy song that is stuck in my head))

Well, out of sheer boredom and absolutely nothing to do, I have decided to make a new blog. What is up people. Do you wish to get down to a groovy beat? Then download "Extreme Ways" by Moby. It's that nifty little song that they play at the end of "Bourne Identity".

Well, what's been going on with me? Hmm, nothing much. I got a farmer's tan from working in the yard on Saturday, I worked all weekend, oh... and one other thing.

I AM GOING TO GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL WEST THIS SUMMER!!!

Oh my GOD, I am like so excited! I get to mark my name in the JHS Orchestra legacy as one of the proud and few (so far) to attend. When I went to the office and heard the news, I was so excited that I wanted to scream aloud in appraisal. But, as the man I am becoming, I decided against that idea. On Friday, I brought my bass to school to show Ms. Enloe-Lady, Mrs. McCollum. She was like "Whoa, nice bass" and I was like "Yup." I love my bass. It's the best bass in the world. It's name is Pete. No it's not. I am messin'.

As these last 12 months go by, it is dawning on me that I will be an adult in less than a year. That thought freaks me out. I am scared out of my wits about leaving my youth behind to pursue bigger and better things.
