    Lucidity of Life
Dreams are revealing. They tap into a matrix of consciousness that has yet to be fully understood and brought into the light of the conscious mind... from the subconscious depths of interconnectivity to full awareness. I have been facinated with this facet of human experience ever since my first eye opening encounter with the dream realm. I was becoming increasingly more interested in all types of esoteric and occult practices and philosophies and started a meditative routine every night when I would fall asleep. It was more of a relaxing breathing exercise focusing on peacefully entering sleep without 'sleeping aids', pills, etc. I did this every night for about 3 months until one night... I had an amazing experience. I entered the 'dream realm' without ever falling asleep! One moment I'm laying in bed, the next I'm standing in my room (or so it seemed). I recognized the sensations... it resembled those dreams I would have where I 'know' that I am dreaming and try to take objects with me to the 'real world' or just simply wake myself out of a nightmare. As I was having this experience, I became very excited and ended up being jerked back into my 'sleeping' physical body. Since this first out of body experience 6 years ago, I have been expanding my 'reality' and consciousness along many facets of Life. It had been an amazing journey so far. I wish I could flood this journal with all my experiences but that will take time... hence space... so we will start from the foundations of my interest in these matters and work our way into everything that I ernestly want to divulge to anyone who can hear.

Lately I've been reflecting a lot on The Matrix - Reloaded sequel. I was absolutely enthralled and blown away by the whole thing. I kept relating and making so many connections that it was just getting ridiculous. The philosophy articles on their webpage, www.whatisthematrix.com, are really informative, especially the one about dreams and the matrix. Most of everything that is in that paper is eXactly what I was thinking while watching the movie in the theatre, probably even more... I can go on about mental imagery, thought and imagination affecting the environment/structure of reality in dreams... but that is a huge topic.. plus it cannot be logically/linearly/coherently explained or presented... only pointed to. One must experience it. A unified reality.

"What, then, could be inconceivable, what in fact is and must be inconceivable? Only that which is conceiving is itself inconceivable, for only what is conceiving cannot, when conceiving, conceive itself." - Wei Wu Wei -
