I'm pretty sure... this is going to be my last post here. I haven't been updating like I normally do(did). I'm usually too busy updating other sites I'm signed up for. If you have livejournal, add me. www.livejournal.com/users/act_myself artlesswreck.deviantart.com xanga.com/artless I'll probably print out my entries from blurty, then delete them all, within the next month. So now's your last chance to go back & read anything you missed. Farewell! Current Mood: happyCurrent Music: Rilo Kiley (Take Offs & Landings) | | Wednesday, October 22nd, 2003 | | 4:50 pm |
IF YOU want to know how a Gemini ticks, sidle up to the one you're trying to puzzle out, start up a chatette, and then listen very carefully. Above the twinkling tones of the Twin twittering on. you may hear a weird whirring, combined with a couple of clicks. Yes? Well. congratulations, my dears, you have just heard the Gemini brain cells in action. And they are what make every Gemini tick. The more astute Twins will actually admit to being aware of their Mercurial minds working. They can feel themselves thinking, just imagine all those neurons neoning away inside their noddles. Geminis think so quickly that they leave some of the other signs standing. Everything they see and hear will pass through that brilliant brainbox and be stored away for future reference in the Geminian filing system. If you're meeting a Gemini for the first time, you'll notice how nervously and quickly he or she moves. Even if the Twin is sitting talking to you, his or her eyes will be taking in everything in the room, and everything about you. Even the egg stain on your tie and the fascinating fact that you're wearing odd socks. All Geminis have an elfin appearance, and look like potential pixies. It's rare for them to look like hobgoblins, because this is a very attractive sign, both mentally and physically. The typical Twin male or female is incredibly pretty in a boyish way, with alert, shining eyes and fine features. Most Twins have a very fast way of talking, and may even start to stammer when excited. That may sound strange when you consider that Geminis are so glib and garrulous. and graced with the gift of the gab, but actually sometimes their minds move faster than their mouths, and you get a right old scramble coming out! Geminis love puns because it means they can play about with their favourite toys words. Very often. Geminis can be desperately disappointed with the world. It can be such a dull place, full of such dreary people that Twins have to invent their own, brighter world to cheer themselves up. Geminian memories of events are always a slightly different version of what really happened! If you understand this it'll help you to appreciate the Twins you know better. You should even feel a bit sorry for them, if you think about it. People who live in their heads that much are bound to be lonely, at least some of the time. Every Gemini man is really a child at heart no matter what year is written on his birth certificate! -Russell Grant | | Friday, October 10th, 2003 | | 11:39 pm |
Friday Night Concerts galore! Wednesday I saw MXPX & Dashboard. I got to the venue late & missed Brand New. I didn't really care about the other bands. But I didn't want to just leave. That'd be a waste of money on a ticket. It was okay. Thursday was much better. Free skybox seating at the allstate arena to see Mexico's greatest rock band, Mana. They were amazing. My aunt's cousin got 10 tickets from some website. I'm glad they informed me about it. The music was incredible, but the overall feeling of being there was beyond words. There were so many people cheering. It was crazy. At the the end of their last song(second encore), they pulled out a mexican flag tied to a white flag with a peace sign on it tied to an american flag. A tri-flag if you will. Confetti flying all over the place too. Well it was really wonderful to see the jam-packed arena cheering so loudly. Friday, aka today, I went to an art gallery in the downtown area here in my city. It was small, and there were only like 15 people there, but it was fun. 2 bands played. They were good. It's pretty funny that there were only like 8 people watching them and clapping. I bought one of their cds. The actual artwork was really cool. It was a dark themed gallery. There were lots of paintings, and a few photographs. The paintings looked so cool, I think I'm now sure that I want to join painting instead of photography class next semester. Halloween is coming. I don't know what I'm doing that day. I really hope something cool comes up. & by cool, I don't mean trick or treating. I'm talking party time. Nothing else to say at the moment. Check out my art, it's being updated rather frequently these days. artlesswreck.deviantart.com/gallery Current Mood: goodCurrent Music: Bedroom Heroes | | Sunday, October 5th, 2003 | | 12:10 am |
Feels like Forever Well I'm finally back. My computer decided to break down one day, so it was in the shop for a few weeks. Not too much of anything new. On Thursday I saw Saves the Day, Taking Back Sunday, & Moneen Play. It was really cool. I love my new std. Friday I drove my cousin to see Dashboard/Brand New. It was sold out so I couldn't get a ticket, but I'm seeing them play on Wednesday. Yeah Chicago rocks so hard that they're playing it twice. Plus, there's an MTV show called Jammed, and Dashboard "jammed" the fans before the show started on Friday. 3 hours before the show started, they played outside for the early birds. Pretty cool huh? I got to meet Jesse from Brand New when I went to pick up my cousin. That was cool. I wonder if he'll remember me if I see him again on Wednesday. Today went by pretty fast. I was updating a few sites, checking some stuff out, all that crap. Please check out my gallery when you have a chance & tell me what you think. artlesswreck.deviantart.com/gallery I might post some new pictures here later. Right now it's past midnight & i'm not quite in the mood. I'm glad to be back. TGIF No school today, as always. I woke up late, picked my sister up from school, took a shower, cut my hair, see? I cut the front part like 4 inches off. while driving, some girl in a car with her friend stuck her hand out the window & waved at me, I didn't know who it was because I couldn't see her face, so I followed her for a while, then gave up & went home, checked my mail and other things like check out band sites, & right now I have pick up my sister from her friend's house, rent a movie, buy dinner, & come back home. Hey that's a really long sentence I got going there. Yesterday I drove to the city myself for the first time ever. I got lost in Chicago for 2.5 hours. Luckily I had enough gas for the day. Barely enough. I saw Midwest Blue, University, & The Red Hot Valentines. Twas awesome. Well I better go now. I might post some pictures from last night later. I had a long meaningful discussion with my cousin last night. We've come to the conclusion that there's no point in living after the age of thirty. So we're just going to kill ourselves around that time. The best way to do it would be: Getting on an airplane, getting drunk, doing drugs, doing it with a girl, then jumping out while listening to Hilary Duff, & looking at a picture of her. Oh yeah & wearing a formal suit too. That way you can aim for your grave, All without a parachute.
Today I saw Moneen, My Chemical Romance, Midtown, & Reggie & The Full Effect. It was so loud & energetic. MCR is amazing. I don't really listen to that kind of music, but it was very cool to watch them perform.
R&TFE was extremely weird. They all came out wearing red dress-up suits, black wigs, & mustaches. There was a guy in a bear suit, a drummer with a devil mask, people with blood coming out of their mouth, some guy with big black horns, & some other guy with a small white fro, purple scarf, shorts, & rollerblades all performing at different times for their set. The Common Denominators played Dwarf Invasion. The guy went into the crowd & made like 20 people scream into the microphone separately.
After the show, I recieved a free ticket for The Red Hot Valentines on Thursday at the Metro. I've loved that band since last year & i'm excited to finally see them.

4 day weekend On saturday I saw Radiohead & they were amazing. Every member of that band is incredibly talented at what they do. It was well worth the $50.
Monday was my first day of school. I only had my design class which was at 12:30 until 3:15. My schedule is pretty rockin. Right now I'm at home mainly to have lunch. The food at school looks pretty gross & costs way too much. I have to be back by 2pm.
Tomorrow I'm seeing The Red Jacket for free in a nearby city. Saturday is Reggie & the Full Effect(:D), & Sunday there's this show with some famous local bands. I don't know what I'm doing on Labor Day.

Saturday, still awake from Friday Here are a few pictures from my trip: ( Click ) | | 12:12 am |
Friday Night I got back from vacation at around 8pm today. My family & I went to Michigan on Wednesday night. Hotel, lunch, drive, beach, drive, dinner(chinese!), drive, hotel(watched x-men 2!), lunch, drive, walk around, beach, drive, drive, mall, home. There it is. I took a few pictures. I think I'll submit a couple to my deviant art page. I'm really tired. I made a few calls when I got back. Tomorrow I'm going to see Radiohead in Wisconsin. Sunday I'm hanging with a friend. Monday I'm starting school, then hanging with another friend. School. This blows! I seriously thought that I didn't have to start school until Thursday. I don't even have my books yet. Or a car to get there.. and back. Current Mood: drainedCurrent Music: Jimmy Eat World | | Tuesday, August 19th, 2003 | | 12:53 am |
Tuesday morning I don't have anything to say. Except that my butt hurts from sitting on this chair for only an hour. I don't get it. It usually doesn't hurt at all. I listened to Audiovent in the car today. I honked at a fence that was in the middle of a dark road. I drove by my old school and saw the marching band practice.. so I turned off my lights and parked it there. I took my pants off when I got home because it's pretty hot. Or should I say, non-pretty hot. Hilarious. There's this really catchy song I heard the other day... but I forgot how it went. I you have quicktime, you should download this: http://www.mis-one.com/spokenword/dload.php?action=file&file_id=82I guess I'll got to bed now. Saturday, 1:21am On Thursday, I went skydiving with my brother, cousin, & dad. it was really amazing. I never really got nervous at all. Neither did my brother or cousin. Maybe being "extreme" is in the genes of Generation Y. After that, we went to my cousin's house to meet up with all of our family members to bid farewell to him since he left to college in Kansasthe next day. He's coming back next weekend though to attend the Radiohead concert in Wisconsin. Earlier today, Friday, I got my cello and books. I've been playing it all day. It's really great. At around 8:15, my sister, her friend, & I went to a local show. My neighbor who plays drums all day from across the street got to play with his band. They were impressive. Right before we left, he asked me why I wasn't in a band. I said I didn't know. I can play guitar somewhat well, and I'm sure bass would be just as easy... & I'd love to play keyboard. I just don't know anyone that would want to start a band though. Hopefully I'll get good at playing the cello & I'll be in a band playing it. We can be called "Cursive part II" Man... since I've got 2 weeks until school starts, and no plans until then(except the Radiohead concert), I actually do wish I was in a band. Wednesday I woke up at 8am today to take my mom to work, since I borrowed her car for the day. After that, I went to my friend Lauren's house to pcik her up and go to school and register for classes. Well I only needed to pick up my yearbook, but she had to go through the big 1.5 hour process which felt like forever. We then had lunch. I took her back home before noon because she had to visit her grandpa that was in the hospital. Here's a few pictures. The last one is my ex-girlfriend Katie that I scanned from the yearbook Hopefully tomorrow... is when I'll finally get my cello. My dad needs to come with me to fill out papers and such, but he's always busy now. On Friday I'm seeing some local bands. One of them is my neighbor from across the street that play drums all day. I'm wondering what his band will sound like. edit: there'sa big chance I might go skydiving tomorrow. rock! Current Mood: blankCurrent Music: brand new | | Monday, August 11th, 2003 | | 2:55 pm |

Thursday afternoon yesterday I went to see bright eyes. so yeah I ate a corn dog today. it was kinda crispy though because I microwaved it for two minutes instead of 70 seconds. it wasn't bad though. I had hawaiian punch with it too. the red kind. i would've drank the green kind, but we ran out. I'll probably buy some later today at the gas station. yeah right, no I won't. I might go to the mall later today with my cousin. I don't have any money to spend though, so there's no point in going. except picking up hot chicks. {sarcasm}because we all know Adrian is the master of doing so. {/sarcasm} Current Mood: blankCurrent Music: Rilo Kiley of course | | Wednesday, July 23rd, 2003 | | 10:35 pm |
