The Mansion is a virtual sanctuary for the assorted self-made 'troublesome' teenagers to assemble, to be with others like themselves. It is also the center of crime and drug-related activity in that part of town. You have your faceless runaways, your self-proclaimed bad boys, and then there are the scared faces of kids who simply crossed onto the other side of the tracks and can't find their way back. You have your addicts, and then there is the sympathetic kid who simply wants a place to belong. From saints to sinners, innocents and those with a frighteningly quick wit, life centered around The Mansion isn't easy -- but for some, there is no other option.
