I have always been fascinated by my dreams and baffled by their meanings. After having a wild and crazy dream or waking up with the feeling of having experienced something powerful and profound, I often ponder, sometimes for the whole day, about that previous night's voyage. Yet these thoughts are lost within a week or so. And there are also the times when I forget my dreams within a few hours.
So in an attempt to record the activities of my mind during its recess, I have created this journal. I have always been motivated to write down my dreams, but after receiving an English assignment to compose a poem about a dream I've had, I realized the importance of such an action. I am no dream expert; I have never read a book on dream interpretation, although I plan on buying one. Yet if you would like to take a trip into the crazy, boggling, unpredictable, ever-working mind of Laura, read this journal. I cannot guarantee that my entries will fascinate you or make you gasp for air due to their hilarity, but who can predict their dreams anyway? |
