| About: | Mandalay Bay is a Mental Hospital for teens age 14-18.
Mandalay Bay may appear a classy place. And may seem very good to their patients, but corruption lies deep inside. Staff may get abusive, yell, etc.
You may join as a patient, or as a Staff member/Doctor.
Here are the rules:
1) You must have a journal that you use for only this community.
2)  mandalay_bay must be added to your friends list.
3) You need to add http://www.blurty.com/userinfo.bml?user=mandalay_bay as your disclaimer in your journal's info.
4) You must have an AIM name.
5) Journals need to be updated once every 2 weeks, but the more the better. We'd like this to be an active community.
6) Your character cannot kill themselves. Attempts are fine, but you're going to have to live. No characters can die in Mandalay_Bay.
7) If you want to start an excessively violent or sexual story line with someone, please get the writer's permission first.
8) Keep in character and out of character separate. Its a game. If there is a serious problem, please comment to the maintainers or block the person.
9) Please type in full sentences with correct punctuation and spelling. This is a mature community.
10) This is a PB community. You pick a celebrity that has not been taken, and change their name. Make up their history. You're just borrowing their body. You may join as a twin of someone if they give us their permission.
11) If you want to join as a lesser known celeb you must have an recent icon of them. We will not add unknown people without pictures.
mandalay_bay is NOT a rip off of tranquility_bay. This community was created for people that did not like the atmosphere at TB since the new mod took over. Many storylines here are being continued from TB, but if you'd like to you can just start over.
Once you have created a journal, added MB as a friend, listed MB's info as a disclaimer, and made an AIM name, you need to make a first post in your journal. Then comment in  mbay_mod
After you have done all that, You are a member. Please keep this journal clean for only introduction and serious ooc posts. Any ooc posts need to be behind cut tags.
Note to former TB members: you may want to have your character be moving here due to A) overcrowding B) high costs C) other issues. You can play it like you never moved, or you can mention being at a new facility. It's up to you.
