Of medium height, with deep brown eyes and long auburn hair pulled back in a simple ponytail, Faith controls the elements of Electricity and Wind. Large white wings flecked with silver are attached to her shoulder blades, granting her the ability of flight, and electrical sacs embedded in the palms of her hands allow her to create and control electrical current. She wears dark blue jeans and a metallic silver button-down shirt open over a simple black top. The Crest of Faith hanging about her neck helps to maintain her mental bond with her partner Kura, allowing them to communicate telepathically and to detect each other's emotions, and also grants her the ability to mind-link with allies. The palms of her tight-fitting black gloves each contain a device made for her by Kura which amplifies the electricity she generates, allowing for huge voltages to be produced.
A newly-certified State Alchemist, Faith is just beginning to discover her alchemical abilities. Living on this side of the Gate, Faith cannot use the common energy source that is used by most alchemists, so she must supply her own energy, which she does using her electricity. The electricity-amplification devices in her gloves are designed in the shape of her alchemy array, which allows her to perform most simple transmutations as well as some healing. She carries a piece of chalk with her to draw more specilized arrays for different kinds of alchemy. Specializing in the recently-discovered field of energy alchemy, Faith is able to convert one form of energy into another, such as electricity to fire or vice versa. This allows her to absorb an energy attack and mingle it with her own, producing a joint attack twice as strong as the original. However, by the nature of this process, it must be done with an ally; Faith can only absorb an attack if the attacker wishes for it to be absorbed.

(Note: When Kura transforms, he takes on only the form and elements of the card, not its strength. If he transforms into a legendary Pokemon, he will be no stronger than if he had transformed into a Rookie Digimon. His power level will depend on his own strength.)

 Moonshadow (Dark): An ebony-colored cat-like beast with large ice-blue eyes and a marking on its forehead in the shape of the center of Faith's Crest. Has two forms; smaller form is the size of a housecat, larger form is the size of a tiger and has large wings. Both forms can attack with fangs, retractable claws, and a beam of energy from the symbol on its forehead.
 Fly Away (Equipment): Causes large midnight-blue wings to appear at his shoulder blades.
 Quicksilver Dagger (Equipment): A small silver dagger. Very accurate when thrown.

Clad in a sleeveless white shirt and midnight blue jeans with a sleeveless, calf-length white jacket, Kura's ice-blue eyes partially hidden behind locks of brown hair grant him a cool and collected air not possessed by his somewhat shorter bondmate. Intense yet reserved, he can seem quite cold at first meeting, but those close to him know that they have a friend and protector for life. Although he has no supernatural abilities of his own, Kura is one of the few humans who possess the Spirit element, granting him great potential of the mind.
To make up for his lack of natural abilities, Kura carries a small device known as a D-Scan. By sliding a common trading card through a slot on the D-Scan, Kura uses the power of his Spirit element to manifest the card physically. If the card is a creature or monster card, he can transform into the creature; if it is a spell or equipment card, he can use it on himself or an ally or indirectly on an enemy. Kura has brought with him to MidNight High a deck that he has assembled of cards useful in battle.
However, the D-Scan has a catch. Each card contains a "secret," and Kura cannot use a card until he understands its secret. The secret is usually a bit of truth contained within the card, and with each card he unlocks, Kura comes a bit closer to understanding the true reality of his Spirit element. Coming to MidNight High, Kura has only unlocked two cards. His Moonshadow card was unlocked when Kura discovered his Spirit element, and the Fly Away card contained a truth about his bond with Faith.
