| About: | This community is for help with html which will prove useful whilst using Blurty. It is open to everyone, so you can share your html knowledge with everyone else. You may post comments and questions about html for other things (like your website) as support only helps with Blurty, but I recommend (if your question is about Blurty) reading the FAQ and if you can't be helped there, then go to the support area and ask questions. Here are some guidelines to note while using this communtiy:- When you want to show html tags, either put the tags <xmp> and </xmp> around the tags that you want to show or use the "<" text to make a "<" (the same applies with ">" substituting ">")... it takes a little longer to do, but produces easier to read, and understandable questions. The xmp tags just show the html code in preformatted (<pre>) text. Remember to use either of these, or html codes won't show!
- Post only things to do with html in this community. Personal journals are for personal writing. This is for knowledge sharing.
- Make sure the html you are telling people about is 100% accurate. Do not guess the html as it may be wrong.
- Do not clutter up the page and friends pages with long tutorials. If it is going to be a long tutorial, use the tag. If you do not know how to use these tags, click here.
- If you have any problems at all, contact me,
 f_it, the maintainer and I will help. - DO NOT post here asking people to make a layout for you. If you want to learn how to create your own style, you should start by reading the faq thoroughly.
- When asking a question about html, try to be AS DETAILED as possible, so someone can solve it for you.
Those are the guidelines by which you must follow whilst you post in this community. Any serious breaches of these guidelines will result in you being possibly banned!
