~*Obsessions*: there are many, hehe, but here are a few:
- LORD OF THE RINGS. Are you surprised? Good. You shouldn’t be. Samwise is my favorite, but I’m also partial to Boromir, Gandalf, and Arwen. Aw, hell, and everyone else, too, for that matter. I collect the figures, and bookmarks, and have some documentaries. This would be a completely healthy obsession, except that it leads to my next one:
- SLASH. Men fucking in the name of fiction. It’s quite beautiful. I’m a sucker for Sam/Frodo, but I’m finding myself drawn to Boromir/hobbit mixes, as well. Aside from LOTR, my favorite couple is Mr. Orange & Mr. White from "Reservoir Dogs." I also like the pairing of Lawrence and Ali from “Lawrence of Arabia.” Grr…Omar.
- OLD MOVIES. Like Pre-1925 old. They’re hard to find, and simply fascinating to look at. My favorite so far is “Broken Blossoms”, and my favorite actress is…
- THEDA BARA. God, I love this woman. The original vamp. In the span of 1914-1919 she did almost 50 movies. 1 is still around.
- PANDAS. They’re so adorable, and I love the way they move. My next tattoo is a paw print on my ass. I kid not.
- The rest: angels, cats, medieval & renaissance history, music, and art, art in general, Marlon Brando, Live Journal (ha), harlequins.
