My father died on September 11th, as some of you may allready know. He was a firefighter, and died when the first tower collapsed. They scearched for him over and over, yet no luck. After weeks of luckless search effort for him, he was found, dead. I cried endlessly, knowing he died, and I didn't get to say good bye. He left for work, before I woke up, and went to sleep the night before crying because I told him I hated him and I wanted him dead. Those were my last words to him. I went through hell, knowing I lost the only person who cared for me more than I cared for him. My father, showed me how to help people, just for self respect and to make yourself feel good. He taught me how to love, he was the first person to love me, and I loved him just the same. He taught me how to care for myself, though I don't do it well... he taught me good. And I never got a chance to really tell him how I felt. His death was so sudden, and I would give anything to have a year with him, a month with him, hell even a few seconds with him, to apologize for hurting him, and to thank him for everthing he's been to me.
