About:	Posted:08.24.04 It is mandatory that you read these guidelines and follow them to join and participate in this community. I've been asked to take over this community and help it be a place of non spam and happiness for all blurty journalist alike. I plan to make it that way. I do delete posts, and I do ban people. "I didn't know." will not be an acceptable answer if I have to tell you more than once. You should keep up on this info page and possibly revised guidelines here after. The memories to this community will be of help to you as well. They will both give you all the knowledge you need to be a successful community promoter. Now that you've created a community you need people to join it! This is the place to be. Advertise your communities. To do so please follow these rules: NEW RULE: NO banners or photos in posts unless they are behind an lj-cut[<lj-cut>]. Only photo-type allowed in the open part of the post are button size pics. Each poster may only post 1 time a week (every seven days). If you have several communities please condense them into one post. If you belong to a community and are posting on behalf of that community make sure no one else has in the past week. Repetative posting of any nature by maintainer or users will be reason for banishment The marquee tag is NOT to be used. It breaks many browsers and is therfore to not be used here. To post your community it is easier for people to check out if you direct link to it using the blurty specific tag <lj comm=communityname> . Please do not just post your communities name and nothing more. Give a short description on what your community is and what it is all about. Offensive remarks will not be tolerated in this community! If you have images please make them within a reasonable size and or place them behind an <lj-cut> If your post is lengthy please use the <lj-cut> Only Blurty communities may be promoted here (NO yahoo, livejournal, and so on) How To: Join a community Post in a community Edit/delete an entry you make in a community Leave a community Post a "members only" post in a community All about communities These posts will be deleted: Anything that violates TOS Community names only and no meat to the entry Too many images not set behind an <lj-cut> Repetitive posting (more than once a week by the same poster) OR many users posting the SAME community. Derogatory entries Off topic situations Notification: First Offense: You will be warned. Through email or on site. Second Offense: You will be warned again, and or put on watch. Through email or on site. Third Offense: You will be banned. These are subject to change at my discretion. If you disagree with a decision I have made you are more than welcome to email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible, I do ask that you do not spam my journal I will not hesitate to take it to the abuse team. In closing: This community will not overrun your friends page if the guidelines are followed. If you need help in anyway please don't hesitate to email the communities maintainer. If you have any questions, requests, or suggestions please contact me as well. Not going to name any names or post any links [because that gives promo to someone promo'ing too much!]. If you have a community make sure you know who is posting it in here. A team of posters is always helpful if you forget one week or what have you, but if you are posting within hours or a mere day of one another you need to stop. There are rules for reason and here are the steps that will happen if this happens and I'm aware of it. I'll warn each person as it happens [I'm not just going to tell you , you will get your 1st, 2nd whatever warning] We're all adults here you NEED to be aware of what is going on in here, it is not my job to hold your hand. If it persists you are going to get banned after 3rd offence for the community, next person who posts for it without it being a week since ANYONE posted for it will be Banned. No if, ands, or buts, and your full community will be on suspension. First suspension is a FULL month. [No one may post the community a full month] Second is Two months [two months no adds from anyone] Third Your community will be unallowed to post ads EVER again in community_ads[lets hope it never gets to this point] If you want post this in your community or give a link to this in your communities.
