| About: | Chicago Life is an AU RPG set in, you guessed it, Chicago. The characters in the game are not celebrities, rather they are Average Joe’s and Plain Jane’s trying to survive Chicago life.
Rules:
First and foremost: This is just a game. It’s just for fun. It’s totally not the end of the world. Everything is fake, nothing is real. Think of it like the Matrix…go bend a spoon.
What happens OOC stays OOC, and what happens IC stays IC.
Please try to be respectful of the feelings of other players. If someone has a serious problem with another player, try to talk it out between each other. If that doesn’t work, then simply do not play with that person. Contact the Mods only if the problem is serious.
Please try to post in your journal at least once every 2-3 weeks.
In order to try and keep activity up, we need to have posts and play in the community. In order to do this, there will be arecommended posting of once every 3 weeks. If a player hasn’t posted within that time, they will be contacted about whether or not they want to stay in the game.

Absolutely no murder is allowed in the game
Killing off characters simply can not be allowed. If a player chooses to leave the game, simply have the character move away from the city. Players who break this rule will be warned by the mods.
Chicago_Life is slash- friendly. This does not mean that het isn’t allowed, but just be warned that slash is also allowed and welcomed. For that reason, we ask that players are aware of the mature content and act maturely.
