| Bio: | Son of Denethor II and Finduilas, brother of Faramir. Proud son of Gondor and heir to the Stewardship. Travelled with the Company of the Ring.
This version of Boromir was not killed in Fellowship of the Ring. His alternate story is that after being taken with madness over the Ring at Amon Hen, he was set upon by Orcs and tried to save Merry and Pippin from being kidnapped. Rather than being shot full of arrows he escaped, wounded but alive, and unable to find the rest of the Company. He made his way back to Minas Tirith, where he was nursed back to health and went on to march with Aragorn to fight the Enemy, despite still being grievously wounded. Upon Aragorn's Kingship, he became Aragorn's Personal Steward.
Unfortunately, after admitting to Aragorn that he was in love with him, Boromir and Aragorn's friendship became awkward to the point of sundering and - in the process of trying to work out what he was meant to be doing with himself, Boromir rekindled his incestuous affair with his brother, Faramir.
More recently, though, the conflict between Boromir and Aragorn finally came to a head, leading to a savage argument in a dramatic confrontation, where the truth of their situation was explored. From there, both men realised that only their love for one another had been the thing to almost drive them apart. Accepting and claiming one another, there now seems little that would drive the asunder, even the fact that Aragorn must wed to provide an Heir for the Kingdom. The relationship, to all intents and purposes, looks unbreakable.
