"If you are going through hell, keep going."
-Winston Churchill

I am recent college graduate and have plans to continue in a master's program. I will also work as a substitute teacher and be Mother Hen to students who live on campus at the university.

We all carry our skeletons in the closet which affect our lives in very significant ways. We all know that online journals and communities are excellent for getting things out into the open and to let each other know that we're in this together. One of the main reasons mine exists is because someone I knew really offended me beyond belief and I need a safe place to express the things I never had a chance to say to her.

The story behind my username, as we all have one, comes from a book I tried to finish reading this last year called In Session, which is about women and their complicated relationships with their therapists. From that I dedicated my username because I keep my therapy notes in protected entries. I want to record them because like all important events in life, I want something that I will be able to keep when the end comes and I have to make it out on my own.

And in case anyone is wondering, "standing in unholiness" is just a spin-off from a theme from my faith. It's what I do--I don't ever profess to be another religious hypocrite. But what I can do is be a witness to what is true, and sometimes the truth is pretty damn ugly coming from some people.

Education is power and is something no one can ever take away from you. Take advantage of what you learn in and outside the classroom.
