| About: | This is a community designed to help users on blurty customise their journals. Before you dive right in however, you might like to see if you can get the answer from the customisation FAQs, the LiveJournal HowTo and later I will put up many useful guides into the memories section. If these do not help, then read on!
*You can ask questions here about how to do something in particular (like fixing a style) if you don't want to open up a Support Request. Remember to state the problem, or what you would like to achieve, as clearly as you can, give examples where possible. There are specific tags you can use to point to another user's journal or a community's here.
*If you need help with styles, then make that style ID public. This can be done by editing the style and ticking the public box at the top of the page. Then, be so nice as to post the ID number so we don't have to ponder over which style you're talking about.
*If you use overrides and have problems with it, then it will be easier for everyone if you post the codes in question so we can tell you what is wrong. Also, remember to use the lj-cut tag (No. 3) if posting long codes.
*You may ask someone to create a style for you, however, this community is entirely voluntary, and so do not expect us always to comply with every request.
Important:
*If you do ask for help on a style, and if you have already done so in multiple communities, then once someone has responded, tell us so that two people don't waste time doing the same journal.
*Do not give out your passwords so other people can fix your journal for you. This community cannot ensure that its users do not hold any malicious intent and this is the easiest way for them to abuse your journal. Many things can be explained with words/codes. Some people can even create a style for you to copy instead of doing it all on your own.
*Do not ask for invitation codes or advertise other communities which are not relevant. This community deals with the designs of blurty journal/community layouts.
*Marquee tags should be avoided at all costs. This tag will not display correctly in most browsers and will render links unclickable. There are better ways, like bold/italics. If you do feel inclined to use it, remember to close the marquee tag </marquee> and to put it behind an lj-cut tag (No. 3).
For any problems relating to this community, such as extreme rudeness please send me an email: Maintainer  xtremesaints. kamara is also on hand if I am unavailable. We will ensure that abusive users either change their attitudes or tell them that they are not welcome to this community (aka banned).
