| Bio: | My livejournal is usually where I write, so don't be surprised if this journal dies out quickly. ;) I also have a journal at Myspace. It has a pretty good description of me that I'm going to steal and put up here:
"Hey! I'm the infamous founder of the Hanford West Gay-Straight Alliance. I consider myself a co-founder..but I'm officially the only founder... I'm president of the club too. I'm not exactly the most gifted of public speakers, but I'm definitely active. Any of the posters you've seen around our campus were created by me, and almost, if not, everything the GSA has done was brought up by, began by, organized by, and carried out by me. I guess you could say that I'm one of those people who thrives by working in the background.
Ironically, not many people realize that I'm gay. Of course, it's great that they don't jump to conclusions (it's got an "S" for a reason!) but I've given people more than an adequate number of hints. Heck, if they ask me "what girls" I like, I'll say, "I'm gay"! XD Haha.
Anyways, I'm very liberal, very much an activist, very very very open minded, very willing to lend an ear, very willing to express myself, and very confused as to who I really am; but I'm working on the last one. I came out to my mom this year and came out to my dad about six months later. Their reactions were pretty much opposites, and exactly what I expected, but the whole dad thing's still a little awkward since he's decided I need to "have sex with a girl" to make sure (XD) and blames it all on himself not being there because of divorce and the military >_<
By the way, I've got a gay uncle, a lesbian aunt, and two male bisexual cousins; all on my mom's side of the family. One of my cousins on my mom's side of the family told someone, when she found out that I'm gay, that she's "not surprised. Gay people run in the family." She runs a beauty school..so let's just say that my mom's side of the family is VERY interesting ;) My dad's side of the family has either disowned me (and my dad!) or accepted us, and my mom's side of the family basically said, "Welcome to the OTHER family!"
Haha, so yeah...I'm probably more interesting than you ever thought and, believe me, if you read one thing I write you'll probably learn more about me than you ever expected to.
