The DA
D.A., or lazily written as DA for short, is a university student in her fourth and final year of college. She studies psychology and Japanese. She likes anime but rarely watches it; she loves manga but infrequently reads it. Other hobbies include drawing, writing, and geeking. "Geeking" is comprised of sitting glued to her seat at one of her computers, fawning over fandom and exploring YouTube and dinking around on Gaia Online.

Mikito: Alternately called Miki. DA's black and red Nintendo DS.
Fester: DA's 320GB external harddrive, named to match Kiler's Gordon. Both are named for the uncle in The Addam's Family.
Kokuren: DA's 8GB iPod Nano. The successor of her lovely, beautiful, long-lasting, dear companion, a whilte 20GB iPod Classic.
Kiler: Alternately called Duomi or Jenchan. DA's best friend/roommate/asexual lifemate. Hobbies include tentacles, tentacle monsters, and zombies.
Kipsuko: Two of DA's friends from home. May be differentiated as Kip and Kitsuko but generally referred to as a pair. Hobbies include anime, video games, and discussions about the impending downfall of society.
Anika: DA's friend in Illinois. They've been friends since they were 11.
Michi: DA's friend in Massachusetts. They've been friends since DA was 15, Michi was 16.
Otousan: KARAHASHI Kiyoshi, DA's host father.
Okaasan: Yoriko, DA's host mother.
