This is not about coolness. This is about getting stuck at home on a Saturday night reading Umberto Eco, while listening to Nirvana - while idiots party elsewhere through the night. No DJs, no syncopated beats, nothing about putting keys to ignitions. No annoying valley girls who don clothes with other peoples's names on it, and speak like they've just been lobotomized. No damned jake dudes who have nothing to talk about but fast cars and big butts. No wannabees, poseurs, angsty teenagers who cuss for the sake of being angsty. No junkies, no rappers, no cool people. This is not an all-night party: that would be somewhere else, where the entrance will say, "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here." Welcome to the lair of the Uncool. And I am Andrea. *** Andrea is a nice, cynical, deadpan, evil person by all means. For a 19 year-old Fine Arts student, she reads a lot and actually enjoys doing her math. Although her grammar is not always flawless, people insist she writes well. And although she feels that her artworks are inferior, people actually marvelled at them. Thus, after two stints in Materials Engineering, she found out that she's actually artistic, and never disillusioned. Being the high school outcast, she have always been taken seroiusly. Actually, she enjoys that, along with the isolation she received. But nowadays she had found her own cohorts, and had been known as the silent, sarcastic type who would cuss proficiently. She is currently searching for the door leading to Narnia.
