Ignore me. It's for the best
University seems to be running relatively smoothy. I think it'll take a few weeks before I'm truely settled in, but I kind of expected that.

I'm so used to being spoon fed my education. Either that, or doing it totally on my own. It's the in between stuff I'm not too sure of. I like the social aspect of formalised teaching but really, I'd rather be self directed. Pity I can't give myself a degree.

I think I just hate having to leave the house before 7am.

I've chosen a multi-media class that I'm feeling really inspired by. My tutor seems to be a funky sort of guy, so that really helps I guess. Plus there's thousands of dollars worth of equipment in that particular room, so the air-con is kick ass! In this climate, that's got to be worth a few points for sure!

I'm updating for the sake of it, which is bad. It means I ramble. My neighbour had a wine tasting night........ three 'paragraphs' have taken me what feels like a million years!

    I should go.

Glad things are going well for you(though I winced at the tumb incident, hope you're okay).

Education seems to be pretty much hit or miss, especially in arts. It seems to depend on how tyranical the prof is concerning sticking to the his or her 'method'. It's strange that for a topic that's so obviously subjective, some people still have very closed views of what is and isn't art. Mind, I'm only speaking from three years of night classes, but they included a madman for a life darwing prof, an off the wall photo guy and a design theory lady who showed us all a chastity belt she had fashioned out of sheet metal with nails pointing out everywhere. I suppose it's good in a sense. To be able to take little bits of everything and incorporate. It may be true that nothing is original in and of itself, but the uniqueness is found in whatever combination of past things occurs.

Speaking of rambling...
