    Chapter Sixteen and Seventeen
Hehe i finished this a day ago but i could post it since i finished at like 11:00pm lol...well, heres 16 AND 17!!!

    Chapter 16:
    "What was she thinking?"
    "She stole my car!"
    "Driving without a license!"
    "She stole my car!"
"She is going to be in some deep trouble when she comes too."
"SHE STOLE MY CAR AND NOW IT'S RUINED!!"
"Honey, call down, it's not that bad. That's what insurance is for."
"BUT SHE CRASHED, IN MY CAR, AND NOW I DONT HAVE ONE!!!" Christina opened her eyes. She was in a hospital bed somewhere. She could only remember the horns honking, the car hitting her side, and the airbag blowing up in her face. Everything after that is blank. Christina could see her mom's tears, her dad's red face, and a lot of doctors monitoring her. She sat up and looked at everyone in the room.
    "I wanna go home."
"Christina honey, you need to stay here until they release you."
"I WANNA GO HOME!" Christina stood up and heard several monitors make a flat-line sound. Chrstina pulled the wires and electrodes, and everything off her and strode out of the room. She heard a male doctor tell the others to let her leave, she would be fine. Christina silently thanked the doctor as she left the hospital. She was fully of bandages and her arm was in a sling, so everyone gave her funny looks as she left. She didn't really care though. She just wanted to go home and sleep. And maybe go to school. She hopped in her dad's car and waited for her parents. They showed up carrying a brown paper bag and a piece of paper. Christina just srugged it off. They climbed in and looked at Christina menicingly.
"I just want to go home." They both turned around and her dad started the car and backed out quickly. He then drove out of the lot, and Christina realized that she was in Milwaukee. She saw the Children's Hospital behind her as they left. She had been there once before. But this time she was on the third floor. Only the really sick kids go there. Not good. But Christina just lay in the back seat and relaxed as they drove home.
When they got home Christina snuck up to her room, locked the door, climbed into bed and reached over for her phone. She listened to all the messages that were left on her machine. The first one was from Jake.
"So, heard you were busted for that painting thing. Bummer. Well, guess I won't be seeing you for a while. Call me sometime."
"Hey...um. What's going on Christina? You got busted for spray painting stuff in the gym. Maybe you should, like, get help or something." Jackie. Ugh. The first five were like that, then came the newer ones.
"Christina? Its Jackie. Look. I know you feel lonely, but stealing a car? How low do you get? I seriously think you need to see someone soon."
Jackie was the only one to diss her on her car-stealing act. All the rest were congrats. Christina felt a little proud of herself. A little.

    Chapter 17:
The next morning Christina rose at 10am. She didn't question why her arm had a big cast on, why she wasn't going to school, and why her left leg was completely black and blue. She just went to the phone and dialed in a number.
"Hey, Jackie, um...it's Christina. I was just wondering if you could come over after school or something...but if you can't that's fine. Bye." Christina knew it was pointless, but she needed someone to talk to. And she was getting pretty desperate at this point. She put down the phone and wanted the old days back. When she and Jackie were friends, when she didn't get all emotional over everything, when she...knew what happiness was like. Christina hugged her phone and rocked back and forth on her bed trying not to cry. She sat there until she felt hungry, when she got up and made herself a lunch. Peanut better and jelly. Jackie always made the best ones. Christina ate it slowly, and then gulped down some milk. She knew she couldn't mope around all day, so she decided to go for a walk. She grabbed her light jacket from the closet and stepped outside. The cold air hit her hard. She shivered and walked down the street, and suddenly not feeling her sitches anymore. She put her hand up to her chin, and they weren't there. Christina felt like jumping, but she had a cast on her arm and her leg was pretty sore so she just kept on walking. She put her hands in her pockets and felt her MP3 player. She pulled it out and turned it on. What did she have on here anyways? Thing's I'll Never Say by Avril blasted in her ears. She laughed as she turned the volume down. She started walking a little faster, not knowing where to go. Only knowing that she was happy. She walked down to the Uptown Park listening to My World by Avril, and walked downtown along the highway listening to Grow Up by Simple Plan. She then was listening to I'd Do Anything by Simple Plan when suddenly she found herself at the foot of the school. She checked her watch. Lunch hour here, 12:20pm. She walked around back to see who all was there, and saw the whole school laughing and yelling. Then one of the popular girls saw her and screamed. Soon there was a stampede towards her. Christina turned around and ran, knowing that no one was aloud off campus since of some stupid kid that got run over last year. They all stopped at the end of the courtyard and looked at her.
"Yo, Christina, how you feeling?" Christina stuggled to find her voice in her throat.
"F-fine I guess. How would you feel if you were in a car crash?" She heard a big wave of laughter, then saw the principal's office door open through a window. "Hey, Old Man Lyndonberg's coming!" Christina hear the stampede run back to their tables as she walked off towards her house once again. But for some reason she found a strange pond instead. She walked over to it and touched it with her hand. It was surprisingly warm. Christina took her shoes and socks off and put her feet in. It felt so good. She felt happy, soothed, and warm. This was all she needed. Just this.
