    Current mood: contemplative

It is said that "Work is fine if it doesn't take too much of your time."

Well, things seem to be going in the wrong direction in my case. Too much work not only reduces the enthu/joy but also harms health. Sometimes I feel that I am doing the wrong thing in life for which I shall regret few years down the line. And the pity is that I am not able to change it. The quest for making huge money in no time is the most dirtiest and sinful thing to do. But, getting out of this chase is, unfortunately, very difficult. And that too at the cost of one's life. My colleague who was happy that he could earn 4 lakhs hard cash in 6 months, now feels that his has lost more in terms of 'life' than what he gained on the monetary front. Some one once told me a very important thing: “You should not confuse your career with your life.” So, very true...yet so difficult to implement.

Soon I shall reach the state of realization...a feeling that materialistic things donot give you the ultimate unending happiness.

Ya....my feelings exactly. Life and career are two separate things and you HAVE to focus on one ( Career) to make the other better...ironic hai na...it is when you are neck deep and gathering accolades at work that you realise life has almost whizzed past by. Me too contemplating about the same thing

I just wanted to say you have a nice group going on here. Have you all been friends before or did you meet on chat? What I really wanted to know was is there place for one more?
