ok, so maybe it isn't... now that i've started to write i no longer have anything to say. i'm becoming increasingly wary of airing my affairs in public, especially when it involves specific people. i should get another journal that not everyone has a link to. hm. there's a thought.

reading brave new world for the gazillionth time... excellent as usual. i'd be done with it by now, except i actually have to pay attention in class occasionally. plus reading while walking doesn't work so well in big crowds of people. ah well.

i had chai today. ^___^ it was yummmmy. although it got cold really fast cause it's windy. grar. still yummy though!

haha! i was sitting at a 5-person table at lunch today, so two guys asked if they could sit with me, since there were no other seats. i think they were grad students... and they were from belgium. ^__^ it seemed like the one guy had just come here for the first time, but apparently they live in boston when they're not at CMU. he didn't know what calculus was, or the purpose of thanksgiving. he told me to read Pillars of the Earth by some guy. i think i've heard of it before, maybe. anyhow, i told him all about halloween and thanksgiving, and he was very confused by the concept of wearing costumes. he studies ECE, but he doesn't know what it stands for! XD that's what the other guy studies also... he told me not to study analog design because it is hard. ha! they thought i wasn't an engineer because i was reading a book. hehe. ^___^

ok, enough of the guys. (except that they couldn't pronounce Alison so they called me Alice! XD) ...juice is good. not so much the mango kind, however.

i think a nap is in order until the readme meeting at 6. yes.

	*giggles madly at lauery's explanation of the boys* ^___^ Here's an idea -- make lots of friends-only entries and just un-friend the people you don't want to read them?
