I'm making this public because this is really bugging me! I hate how people always say bands suck becuase they don't listen to that type of music! Simple Plan never claimed to be punk, fans who saw them when they first came out classifed them in that catergory! Yes, they are on warped tour and that is one reason I'm going but also to see others bands (i.e Rancid, Less than Jake, Brand New, Count the Stars, Coheed and Cambrai) Simple plan is pop-punk and they are great musicians! Yes they have a set of fans who are just tenny boppers but why do people classify a band based on there fans! People say they are sell-outs fo making it big by doing something they really love; making music and helping people through their music! It just pisses me off that people have to say they suck becasue they don't listen to them or by a select set of fans! If I started a band it would be because I love music and that is why these bands (i.e Simple Plan, Good Charlotte) started and why are to judge them becasue they are making it big for something they have dreamed of doing! Yes, I will admit I think the members of Simple plan are adorable but even if they were bald, overweight men with no teeth I would still listen to them because there music has helped me through so much shit and always seems to cheer me up; same goes with Good Charlotte!! Okay, I'm done pissing now but I just needed to get that off my chest...please leave 'em with your views!

	wow, i totally agree with you !!!! everything you said is very very true !! --> yea some of the people out there are just teenies but 0o well there's always gonna be teenies or w.ever and plus the band knows who's a real fan and who just likes them for their looks.. i mean there music helps me through alota things !! and the fact that there all cuties is jsut a plus (Reply to this) (Thread)

i agree so much...i hate how people do that too if they have a good reason other then their "fans" then..ok but they should STILL respect them...for me at times i get so pissed of because Billy and Paul seem to not get all the credit they should and i sometime think the moneys going to Joel and Benji's head..but i always think like.. "what the fuck im becoming a hater" even tho im not..its just what i think at times..i still love their music and i will alway respect them. I agree with what you said about Simple Plan. I just don't agree with the Good Charlotte part. The twins really have sold out, and andyone who has been a fan since the beginning (ie- when Aaron was still in the band) would more than likely agree with that. They used to talk about how they don't like MTV and how they aren't going to go on MTV and suck up to MTV and now look.. Benji and Joel are MTVs little bitches. And I won't even get into the fact that they stold the rights to their songs to their record company.. you only do that to get more money. 	yeah well simple plan is my guilty pleasure i still listen to them but really they do kind of annoy me.. not because they suck because they really don't, well their lyrics arent great but they don't suck, its just that they sold out =/ i fucking hate when bands sell out... I mean they went in the muisc industry trying to make it big and help people and do what they love...yes they are bigger then I want them to be but I'm not gonna say I hate them for what they want to do! i could agree with that.. i mean i dont like when bands sell out. its awesome for them-everything they worked for has reached its peak and they are finally getting the notice they deserve whether i want to admit that or not. i like having bands who continue to do what they like and dont change to fit the mold of 'popular bands'. i remember seeing simple plan in a show for $12...i cant see tons of $12 shows in the near future but besides that for the most part they seem like good people and they are good at what they love to do best. i listen to my music because of talented people like them who put their music out there. you really cant ask for them to stay a 'secret'. always remember- all these teeni-bopper-preppy kids listen to their music because they are 'cool' to listen to not for any other reason. in time they will fade from the 'popular' scene because thats what happeneds with 'popular' music then you get your band but they still can say they had the time of their life and have great fans who have stuck by them xox-jenn (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I LOVE YOU! simple plan is one of my favorite bands and have been for awhile. im so sick of them not even getting a chance. im so sick of people giving me that face when i wear their t shirt. i love them they are great people who make great music and im sick of going to concerts where they get shit thrown at them. it has happened all three times ive seen them. its crap and that shouldnt happen to people. i agree with you so much. im going to add you. hopefully youll add me back. everything you said is very very tru. people need to stop being so ignorant n stupid n stop bitchin about how "gc sucks" or "nfg sucks" i have loved nfg practically my whole life. honestly. another thing that rele pisses me off is other fans judging other fans. i'm talkin about the "teeny bopper" deal. i mean seriously...teeny bopper?wtf. personally, i think a fan is a fan. yes there are those fans who have followed the band their entire career before *makin it big* but also keep in mind....those aren;t the only fans out there. bands like nfg,gc, & sp have made it this far BECAUSE of their fans. so no fan, regardless on what they wear, wether it be something "punked out" or something from american eagle, should be "labeled" remember, we're all in it for the music. now don't get me wrong...there are many of these "teeny boppers" who just over do it...you know the type, that come to the show all made up & lookin "cute" but only know my friends over you for example. and then when the older songs are played..they look clueless. but no matter what...these are the ppl that go out to the shows...buy the cds...and just support the band. fans are fans...keep it that simple.
