    Current mood:awake
Current music:Yasunori Matsumoto - So In The World (Slayers)

For some reason, some woman representative of KSJO (or some other radio station, I can't remember, so I'm just going to say KSJO because it's a station I remember the letter-designation of ^^;) was at my house or wherever I was, and we were talking about something, and she said she'd be at a fair the next day, covering their lack of music problem.

Then I was on my front lawn, trying out my sleeping bag for some ungodly reason, and I was on the verge of falling asleep when this LOUD music started blaring. You know how it sounds when someone has a major-big sound system across the street and it's BLARING, and everything is almost crystal clear, but with enough distortion to let you know which direction it's coming in and that it's a couple houses away across the street? It was like that. Anyway, I turned on the light on my watch and it was like.. 11:15PMish, looked up and above the trees across the street was the HUGE Garden Casino sign (it's the casino that exists down here, I'm SO pissed off about it. I hate it with a passion, because casinos shouldn't be allowed down here, we have too many people and too many people with money problems anyway. It's about three miles from my house in actuality) so I went inside with my sleeping bag and started complaining to my father about how evil the casino is, and how they were playing this hella loud music after 11PM, and HE (being the helpful father he is < /sarcasm >) said it was just a carnival, took me back outside, and pointed to a dim glow in front of the HUGE sign, which he said was a carnival.

So I went to go tromp through the carnival to get to the casino (in my dream it was only a block or so away), and I walked down this wooden plank bridge, through a Nathan's (for those of you on the west coast, that's the best hot dog place you can ever hope to go to), and on through the carnival. Something I noticed out of the corner of my eye was that EVERYONE was afro-american, except this one group of three people, who were caucasian, but were all ghetto-gang-like (as a note, everyone else was dressed in very varied clothing -- suits, t-shirts, wifebeaters, all that. Mix of people, really) and who made me really nervous (the group of ghetto-gang members). I dunno why I remember that or why it's even important, but... oh well.

ANYWAY. This carnival was like... more like an indoor flea market at times, because there were these wooden walls all over, it wasn't an open-style thing at my end of it.. sort of like a labyrinth. But towards the casino's side, it was a lot more open, and then you had all the typical carnival/fair things. I left that, crossed the street, and went into the casino (you know that hotel I keep mentioning? It looked like that on the inside. Man, brain, come up with some new scenery, here XD;;) and bitched the lady at the receptionist counter out for blaring loud music at the wee hours of the night, and she said they weren't blaring any music anymore, it was past their blaring hours, and so I just leave in frustration...

... and suddenly it's 7AM and the sun is shining through a cloudless blue sky again o_O; So apparently they blare their music from 11PM to 6 or 7AM or something. Anyway, so I'm in a somewhat-pissy mood and I'm crossing the street when I run into someone I know. I dunno WHO they are, I don't know if they're male or female, I just know they have a fog/mist maker on their back that keeps going off in accordance with their emotions. Anyway, so I meet up with this person as I'm crossing the street, and tell them I'm heading home via the carnival (the way I came). They agree to come with me, but as we get to the carnival it appears you need an entry code to get in. I am SO not going up Saratoga, down Steven's Creek to the 280 entrance ramp and up Calvert (3ish miles) to get to my house, so I HAVE to cut through this fair (1 1/2 blocks at the most). After me getting pissed and kicking the entry code taker thing, we start walking down Saratoga (which is actually Kiley in my dream-mind (there's no signs or anything with writing on them) and it looks like the area in front of Great America, but hush) trying to find a way to get in. We find this grassy-paved hill that we go up and down again, and then there's another hill with a bunch of people standing around on it. After whispering a discussion among us, I go up to this guy in buisness-casual and say, "hi, we're lost, can you tell me how to get to ____?" (I don't remember where I said), and he pointed to it with his thumb to the area behind him, we thank him and walk by, and he hails us. We turn around and he PULLS OFF his prosthetic hand (the one he pointed with) to reveal his real hand, which he then uses to point at us and says, "nobody's ever snuck in this way before, so I'll let you go. Be careful!"

Now that freaked us out for about five minutes oO Then we got into the carnival proper and things were a LOT more culturally diverse, which made me feel a bit better coz' I didn't stand out so much ^^; We met up with some person from KKSF who was doing the music. I asked him where the person from KSJO was, and he said that he (the guy from KSJO) had skipped out after taking a bunch of free stuff. This totally boggled our minds because one, he took free stuff. Shock! Horror! and two, because the person I had talked with earlier was a girl. Hm.

Then I had to go to school, and it sucked. I never get good dream-time in anymore T__T *kicks school*
