it's merman!
oh my gosh. I just saw this picture and I didn't even know it was me at first! Well, at first glance it's not me, it's The Russian (I forgot his name), but I'm in there. This was a photo shoot for an Aveda contest and I haven't seen any of the pictures yet, because my stylist doesn't know if she won or not...apparently they told me she can't give me the pictures until she finds out...but she can put them on myspace where I can steal them.



This picture makes me so happy! I love that my favorite picture came from an amateur photographer. Speaking of photoshoots, I did one yesterday at Salt Water State Park...the park that's always cloudy...and it was 45 degrees out!! I was in the water!! The pictures better be good. When I got done I was so cold I couldn't turn my car on, or hold a pen to sign the release form. It was insane. I think I took a shower on the hottest setting possible for like an hour. I was amazed when I woke up in the middle of the night and my feet were hot.

	it's from zoolander. no this is before the ridiculously short hair. i liked this...i had two more cuts before the short hair, so i don't even remember what it's like to have long hair. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ok that is FREAKING cute. I love it. Who did it? This girl from Lair offered me (via myspace, kinda cool) a free haircut as a way to prove how good she is. She graduated from Gary Manuel/Aveda which is where I get my hair done now. I am thinking of switching. Your hair is actually the hair I wanted that she said "wouldn't work on my hair" and now I'm obsessed with growing it long for my sister's wedding. What time is the audition? 	no way, gary manuel is where i do my hair photoshoots! karlie baptie, who actually graduates tomorrow from that school did it for me. she works for free at the gary manuel salon now. you HAVE to go to her, she's amazing. she's the one who entered the contest i did the above picture for. CRAP! Of course. Katryn does mine and she's really good at Katies...but I don't think she gets what I'm going for EVER. Plus she doesn't take enough time to do a super good blowout like they used to do at Halo so I always end up with school teacher hair. I don't know how I'd be like "I don't like Katryn..give me Karlie." She's so nice too. Dang. Also, the last two times she cut it she's left this one little section longer and it looks like I have a mini rat tail when I flat iron it. Then I have to end up cutting that portion of my hair. she's staying at gary manuel. i guess not everyone who graduates from the school gets a job there, but since she's so awesome she got hired before she even graduated. seriously, it's known throughout the seattle region that she's the best. try to be sneaky about it and ask the receptionist to make you an appointment with karlie when your girl isn't there...or i could give you karlie's email address and she'll set it up for you...she's so cool. tell her you want my cut and she'll do it perfectly for you. she loves the blow out and straightening bit. I LOVE your hair. If I didn't already have someone that I totally love who does my hair then I would go to her - but did you ask her if she wants to practice doing a blow out on super unruly and stubborn hair?? Now that my hair is super curly again I'm not even going to try and do it straight myself - but it'd be fun to wear it straight every once in a while.
