Colin at the burrow
It was another warm summer afternoon, school was starting in 2 weeks ((as we go by RL-time)).
Colin made his way to the Burrow. He had said to Ron that he would come before school started, so here he was.
He wondered if Ron and Malfoy would go back to Hogwarts. Ron had mentioned something about 'not going back if they didn't find a solution for Malfoy's blindness'. He really hoped he would return. After all it would be Ron's last and final year.
Colin sighed a little and knocked on the door, hoping Ron would be here,... hoping 'someone' would be here!

Ron was infact, there. Actually, he wasn't that far from the door when Colin knocked. Actually, the sound of a rapping at the door made him jump, he was rather easily suprised lately. He had gotten used to his little routine and extras startled him. Yet he stood and went over to the door, opening it. His face actually lit up at the sight of his friend on the other side. "Colin!" 	"Hey Ron!", Colin smiled brightly,"I told you I would come one day, so ... Here I am!" He looked around if he could see any sight of Malfoy, but apparently the other boy seemed to be somewhere else. 	Ron grinned and opened the door further to let Colin in, closing it after him. "It's good to see you again. I'm glad you came. I'm alright, your knock gave me a bit of a start. I always worry about who could be knocking at my door nowadays.." Ron's expression grew slightly dreary at that thought, then quickly brightened. "How are things with you?" 	"Uh...? Oh, Seamus!", Colin sighed, "Not really,... Codey told me he's moving now. Well, the kind you do in your sleep, but other than that..." He shrugged again. "And eh... how's Malfoy?" "Well, that's a start. We can only hope that he gets better in time to go back to Hogwarts in a couple weeks. Um. Who's Codey though? I don't think I recognise that name.." Ron considered the name, and couldn't really place it. Maybe it was one of Colin's muggle friends or something. He wasn't sure. "He's managing. Seems to be feeling a lot better lately. Colin smiled, "Codey is Seamus little brother. He'll be going to Hogwarts this coming schoolyear. And I really hope Seamus will be better by that time. Somehow the mother seemed to have left him on his own,..." He shook his head at that thought, "Well, I'm thinking of going to Diagon Alley with him, so we can both buy our schoolstuff... and Seamus'." "Anyway, good to hear he's doing better. "Seamus has a little brother? Really? Huh. I didn't know that. Guess I'll meet him when we start this year, then. At least he's keeping an eye on Seamus. Sorry to hear that his mother left him on his own. If there's anything I can do.. let me okay, okay? As for Draco minding you being here. Colin grinned: "I didn't know myself. Actually, I think there's still a lot I don't know about him." He frowned a little at Ron's comment about Draco. He could have known Malfoy was here and yes of course, this was still Ron's house, so he's allowed to invite however he wants, but still... "Okay, then. I just don't want to upset him. "Well, all the better to learn more, right?" Ron smiled, he hoped the pair would be happy together. He saw them pairing up in the near future as inevitable now, based on how Colin was worried about him. Granted, he was worried about Seamus too.. but not quite in the same way as Colin. He hated himself for not being able to visit Seamus more often and he hadn't seen Codey anymore after their first visit. "Yeah, I know how he is, "Colin smirked. Ron again took on a pleasant smile. It really was nice to see a friend again. It was so odd being cooped up in his house so much. "No, it hasn't been the best of summers. But I'm looking forward to school at least! Though I haven't seen Fred or George all that much lately. They must be, if they're around so little. I know at the begining of the summer they were constantly testing stuff with Harry. So they seem as into that as ever. At least they stopped testing on me" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Malfoy is Head Boy?" Colin wasn't too surprised to hear this. "I was already afraid... I already -thought- they might have made him Head Boy. Good for him, and as you said: It's still one more week untill school starts again. A lot can happen in one week time." Like Seamus getting out of his coma, for example... Speaking of which. "Maybe I should go. I believe someone's awake upstairs." Colin stood up, looking up the stairs. "And at this hour, maybe there's still time to stop by at St Mungos..." Draco made his way out of the room, stretching a bit and pausing at the doorframe. Now was the tricky part. He made his way out and felt towards the stairs, hands finding the railing. He made his way down slowly, but noisily. "Ron?" He heard voices coming from the bottom floor and slowly continued making his way down. Yes, that was Ron's voice he heard...whose was the other's? He FINALLY stopped at the bottom of the stairs and paused. Well, now he was stuck. He knew to one side was the kitched, and the other way was the living room and such. 	Ron made a motion to Colin to stay put for a moment as he rose and went off to help Draco. He moved to the blonde's side, running a hand across his cheek tenderly. "Yeah, its me, its okay. "Sorry about that, I was just getting some breakfast and expected to be back before you woke up. Wanna come say hi or something? Or should I help you back upstairs? He was just on his way to St. Mungo's pretty soon anyway." He still found it bizzare that Draco was so helpless, that he had to help him so much with everything. Colin saw the two boys appear for a second and disappear in the kitchen. It seemed to him that the Slytherin prefered not to meet him. Well, he wasn't going to force the guy and Colin didn't want to upset him either. For a moment he thought of leaving quietly, leaving the two alone.
