Magnifico leads the nomination. Cool. I wonder if Urian only noticed magnifico because it had won an award in Germany. For Bridal Shower, I think it deserves a nod because that movie features a new way of communicating to the audience. Although its introduction to the characterin the movie is similar to Dude, Where's My Car, the story and actors carried the movie to the red carpet. Dina Bonnevie is so beautiful ever in BS. But Cherry Pie Picache was the best. I love her there. Her character is engraved to my head that when I hear Bridal Shower, Her character immediately comes in my mind. She deserves the award for the lead role. Urian has no eye to look for best actors. Cogie Domingo? Since when did he learn how to act?
I believe Eric Quizon can have the best supporting actor award. I will not question his performance in Crying Ladies. Likewise to Ms. Hilda Coronel.
Even if Urian does it, I don't want to se any ties in the awards night especially Dina and Cherry Pie are both nominated for lead actress both from the same movie. Urian, please stick to one.
I am curious about the story and movie of Mario O'hara, Babae sa Breakwater. Very much proud cause its in Cannes but what's its all about? So I cannot say anymore since I haven't seen that film. May the deserving people win.
