What liquor laws... the can't drink until you're 25? I really need to get caught up on the Utah communisty scene. I'm in Logan, I swear we're detached from everything!

Nono. Haha, that would be terrible. (But then I'm 26, so I'd be safe!) I know they're trying to raise like the licensing fees for places that serve liquor - I heard they're trying to raise them by 1000%?? (that's one thousand, not 100) Plus that they want to impose a per-drink maximum. So that drinks like long island iced teas (which has 4 different kind of alcohol, I believe) would have to be much more watered down than they already are. There's other stuff to, but I haven't been paying that much attention either.

Man, that's retarded. I really hate how the Mormon religion dictates everything in the state.

Most of the time I don't feel like that's true, but then sometimes you realize that it is, in a sense. Especially since they did "consult" with the mormon church regarding the new liquor laws. Somehow, I doubt they consulted with the Jehova's Witnesses. Or the muslims. Or the atheists!!

It's like "Hi, we're an open-minded, accepting, warm, loving, welcoming congregation. Visistor's welcome" but they don't tell you if you don't conform, they will make you suffer by changing all the laws in Utah, so it's easier for them to be good.
