Tofu Monster?
I heard on the news this morning that Cookie Monster is going to become more health conscious in order to promote healthy eating to kids. I guess that is a good idea, and it actually kinda surprised me a bit that something like this hadn't happened sooner. Where were the crazed parents groups calling for the cancellation of Sesame Street until their demands for better muppet role models were met?
And on a side note: don't you just love how unprofessional local news anchors are sometimes? I think it's mostly the early morning anchors who are like this, but what it is is that they behave like morning radio talk show hosts. One of the women anchors this morning commented on the Cookie Monster thing by saying "I always wished there was a Nacho Bel-Grande Monster!" Um, okay...where did you get your broadcasting degree?

excuse me? Cookie Monster more "health concious"?! that is fucked and fucked and, well, fucked. first of all, he's a MONSTER. he ain't giving a flying toss about health. secondly, he's a COOKIE monster. cookies, people. not fruits and veggies and frickin' rice cakes. COOKIES! FAT FILLED, CARBOHYDRATE STUFFED, SUGARY GOOD COOKIES!!!!!
