Finally, an update
It has been a long time since I’ve been to Blurty. It seems that when I do finally get back here, I end up re-reading my past posts. God, I am so funny! Ha ha…

Anyway, in reading those old entries, I realized that a lot has happened since my posts in December and January, so I thought maybe I’d write a bit here.

Well, in December I was bitching a lot about school, and the possibility of not being able to return this semester. Well, here’s what happened: I ended up actually not failing any of my classes, but I was very very close. I got a C, a C-, a D-, and an Incomplete. I finished my Incomplete at the end of January, so that grade is a B! Yay! All I had to do to keep my financial aid was complete a certain number of credits, and I technically did that. So here I am, a new semester well under way…and I am doing SO much better. I haven’t fallen behind at all in any classes, and I’ve actually been doing all of my homework. That is a really amazing thing for me, so I am proud of myself for that. I’m taking 4 french classes, and it’s kinda kicking my ass, but I’m still staying focused. I am also planning on going to study in Paris next Spring. That should also be my last semester, so I hope I can make it happen. Oh, I’m also going to retake those classes I got a C- and D- in next Fall, so that will help my GPA a bit.

Looking back on my old posts, I noticed that there’s something pretty major that I’ve left out, and that is the fact that Shawn and I have broken up. For good this time. I think I probably didn’t write about it here cuz he reads this, and I just didn’t want to “bare my soul” where he could find it. But, it’s been about 2 months now, and this is, after all, my journal, so here I am telling all of you, although I think most of you know already. I’m not really gonna say anything else about it though because it’s not a bad break-up, neither of us got hurt in the process of it (mostly), so there’s really no dirty laundry to air anyway. It’s just what it is.

Moving on…

Let’s see, what else has transpired recently…oh! I saw the movie Bad Education with Gael Garcia Bernal. Gael. He his THE hottest man on the planet. And, after seeing this movie, I can also say that he is one of the hottest FEMALES on the planet too! God, he did it so well, it was unbelievable. And, being a European film, you pretty much get to see all that Gael has to offer. Good god…yeah…I was very happy to be in the theatre. The movie itself was pretty good too, although it kinda turned out to have a Hollywood-style twist/ending, which I didn’t particularly care for. But I left feeling satisfied, if not culturally, then sexually :D

I think Gael and Jude need to do a movie together. Maybe throw in a little Johnny too.

Well, I think that’s all that I have to update about. I don’t know if I’ll post again soon, because when you have as much 17th century French stuff to read as I do, you have little time for much else! Hell, 21st century French stuff is hard enough. Take care!

	yes, Mr. Bernal is quite simply angelic in his beauty. there was a photo shoot of him in Interview a while back and I pretty much came right there in the bookstore. :-P I haven't seen Bad Education yet, but seeing the pics of him as a woman make me agree with you that he's gorgeous as a woman too. how disgusting is that? beautiful as a man *and* a woman!
