Hope, Change, And the New World Order
Yes we can! Change! Hope! That big smile, that honest face, the confidence, the intelligence, the dignity. I was actually excited about a major party candidate (or a candidate at all) since Bill 'Tha Mac Daddy' Clinton.

Me. A staunch anti government, son of a bastard. I admit it. I was starstruck. Barack Star! God, how brilliant. He's going to shit silver dollars all over the Appalachian mountains, use his super powers to fix the corrupted, terribly run, good old boys clubs known as the banks. I bet he'll put solar panels on every house and stop global climate change (not that it needs to be stopped). He'll stop the polar ice caps from melting with Hillary Clinton's frosty breath, and go back in time, and kill Adolf Hitler before he killed all those Jews!

But the economy had been falling steadily. The housing market was dying quickly. The automobile industry in Michigan and the rest of the U.S. had been dead for years (and had nazi union members trying to forcibly draw blood from a stone). It was a time for a Lincoln. A Kennedy. Hell, Ild even take a Reagan or a Nixon or maybe even a Ross Perot? We needed the Obama Brand name. Hope and change and water that tastes like Tang (I was going to say Kool Aid but I remembered since he's HALF black, I would have every P.C. Asshole calling me a racist for six months).

It didn't matter to me that he was much too socialist for my tase. He cared about the enviroment. Like a multicultural, less robotic Al Gore. He was going to stop this farce of a "war". He smacked down that frost queen Hilary Clinton. Good enough for me. But what really drew me to him was that he seemed open, honest, and in touch with the younger generation.

But alas, he is in office and I can't count the number of things he's done to piss me off. But the fact that we still have troops in Iraq for another year (maybe longer for "training purposes"), and the we have Pakistan and Afghanistan to look forward to. All this while we complete ignore real threats like Iran, North Korea, and most importantly Russia. This place has attacked and devistated half of a small defensless alli of ours and ignores U.S. And U.N. Cease fires, then one of their satelites "accidentally" blew up one of our satelites.

And now this big sexy stimulus package is taking trillions of dollars from our pockets and sending it god knows where, and paying it back god knows when. Most of the jobs being created are "jobs saved" for future times, and many of the jobs are state and federal government jobs. Yay! Everybody working for the government! I love how welre slowly becoming the Soviet Union. Somebody exhume Trotsky!

Many say what I'm upset about is just nutty conspiracy theory garbage. But the United States is very quickly becoming a socialist state, a police state, a dictatorship, and proponents of a World government.
And now they seem to have the right to create laws tailored for singular situations ("So and so's law"), start wars in third world countries for no apparent reason and tax us over a trillion dollars without telling us what it's for, or even if it will do jack shit for the economy. Hint folks. It won't.

The Obamarama is over people. He's just another Bush puppet. Don't let your anarchist hearts be tricked by this new age propaganda.

    -Elohim

I'm not sure what you expected from the president. There is no "magic bullet" cure for the economy. The Stimulus Package is a huge debt, but then again, what else is new? We've been on that train since Georgie Boy decided we needed to invade Iraq and pump not only troops in there, but huge sums of cash that they don't have to pay back, as well. We can't sit back and do nothing as the economy goes down the tubes. The President himself has said that this situation will take years to change.

As of yesterday, the president has extended the troops only 3 months past what he promised he would do when he was running, and that is based on the advisement of his military leaders. At least now we have a withdrawal date and that is progress.

I'm not sure what we can really do about Iran and North Korea. They both have nuclear capabilities now, so we can't just go invading them without possibly dire consequences.

I think the main problem is that the system as a whole is too rife with corruption, and they never really change that. A perfect example is here in California, where we supposedly have NO money, they are going to raise taxes, etc., and now it comes out that one of the governor's aides was using taxpayer money to pay her travel expenses when she took her daughter to a Justin Timberlake concert. Ugh.

I am not nearly inept enough to actually have faith in a politician.
I was pointing out that some of my fellow anarchist and libertarian bretheren were making statements about him like "Wow! This guy is like Kennedy, Lincoln, and FDR rolled into one multicultural sushi roll".
Anarchists often become disillusioned with the ideak of a country truly for the people, by the people.
This is due to most anarchists being drawn to the ideals by the t.v. Snippets of 20 somethings lobbing molotovs at lines of riot police.
When they realize that those methods do little more than prove to the powers that be, even further, that we are a far too ignorant society collectivley to be left to our own devices.

So we turn to the lesser evils. The green party, the democrats, the reform party, the American constitution party etc.

I was simply saying that even I was temporarily drawn in by this guy. He seemed like he was going to fix some of our troubles, not just try and solve the economic depression (yes, depression) by throwing more money at it, the typical leftist answer for everything....It's like putting billion dollar band aids on a terminal cancer patient.
In economics, most theorize that an economic system must bottom out once in a while to continue it's overall positive patterns.

The main beefs I have are
1.He's taking us out of Iraq and putting us into Afghanipakistaniran (and by the way, why can we bust into Iraq because of supposed WMD's, but not N Korea for their ACTUAL nukes...Or Russia for constantly bitchslapping the U.S. While remaining an allie, and member of the U.N.)

2.He is supprting this NAZI Labor union's barrage on getting more $$$ from companies who have been broke for years, and the poor idiots who stay in Michigan working for these limpdick American car companies....yet at the same time he's furthering the global climate change myth, encouraging hybrid cars, further destroying the U.S. Ca industry.

3.And my number one piss off about that bastard of a puppet is his beaten to death democrat idea that spending over a trillion dollars and not telling us where it's going, when and if it will be paid back, and if it will create one non government/state job.

Americans are selfish, don't think ahead, and rely on the 'forget about today until tomorrow' philosophy. He's doing what the people want. Not what will help them. Atleast the Bushmeister didn't give 2 fucks about what the public thought.

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE DUDE. - Love Timothy McVeigh

P.S. A trillion dollar stimulus package, plus last year's, plus the ahem....bailouts is not normal careless spending. This is the largest anal raping of taxpayers in the history of the country.
