I woke up late (perhaps inevitably), so this will be quick. Just to say that unless anything really untoward happens to prevent it, duck-feeding is scheduled for tomorrow.

	I have loads of pics from Slimbridge wildfowl reserve. Couldn't believe how many different ducks there were there! Some really good pictures of a duck's @rse as it dived while I was taking a photo! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ah ha! Knew it was online somewhere, and I've just realised where you got "mad as pants" from too. Pratchett is superceded by Fforde. You always were a great picker up of unconsidered linguistic trifles, I just like to know where they come from when they are so unlike your usual style. Yes, I certainly do pick up such trifles... but on the other hand, I am very happy for other people to pick up the ones I drop! So if you wish to go round declaring that a day without chocolate is null and void, or indeed that a good-looking man (or woman) with no brains is like an expensively gift-wrapped slug, then feel free. 	Good grief, that post was a long time ago! If I recall correctly, I was going to Bakewell (a small town about ten miles from here), where there is a very pleasant stretch of river with various kinds of wildfowl, not just ducks. It's a popular diversion to go and feed them, and so, of course, they're all very tame now! :-) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
