It's amazing how much a little piece of cloth can change people's perceptions of you. For example, there is this one girl who decided to wear niqab this year. So all of a sudden, there is so much respect for her from everyone...one guy even said that he wanted to marry her. He doesn't even know her...doesn't know her personality at all...doesn't even know her name...but because she wears niqab, he wants her to be his wife. Now last year, she was not covered and she actually wore tight clothes, etc...and this same guy did not notice her at all...did not even know she existed. Amazing...I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

	it's a bad thing i'd say. from the brother's side at least. massive irony though. i'm glad for the sis (whoever she might be, Allah be with her), alhamdulillah that she took such a step. brothers in general need to get their distorted perspectives fixed. not all niqab wearers are marriage-worthy. but who am i to pass judgements eh :) was nice strollin by, sis. ma3assalama (Reply to this) (Thread)
