9-10: French (found out I had made an A on my French exam. Vive le France!)
10-11: Lit & Sex (talked about The Color Purple, which is an excellent book and a quick read)
11-1: work at the office (phone ringing off the hook while I was there by myself, not so much fun)
1-3: English House (Michele went to hand in a paper and got corralled by Dr. Miller, then I went searching for her and got corralled by Dr. Miller, then Shalanda came to turn in her paper, and we all got corralled into having a nice chat in the living room of the English House with, yes, you guessed it, Dr. Miller)
3-4: Hanging out with Shalanda and waiting for dinner
4: Dinner
5-8: Hanging out with Michele, talking to the sick Alex on the phone.
8-10: Talking to the sick Alex on the phone (Michele left)
10-12:30: Watching T.V. and going to sleep
Ok, now that yesterday's out of the way, I can get to the highlights of today. Been reading more in The Color Purple. That is a kick-ass book! I highly recommend it if you want a quick but good read. Went searching for Alex a birthday present since his birthday's on Tuesday. Finally found one after running to three bookstores and spending hours browsing for the both of us. :-) Alex still isn't feeling up to tip-top shape yet, but I'm going to see if I can correct that when I go to see him this evening. I have ways of improving his health... :-) Other than that, not much has been going on. I think I might try to update my website now...I'll let ya know how that goes!

It's The Color Purple by Alice Walker. It definitely goes more in-depth than the movie and helps to explain things better. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
