When I went to leave for work last night I was walking out to my car and was greeted by three deer in our front yard. They have been dining at our bird feeders.
Thankfully they went in the opposite direction. Not so sure I would want to go head to head with three deer. :o

antlers or not?

We have a "Deer Farm" just west of Flagstaff. I would want to keep my distance from some of them as well....can get a tad aggressive....

It was too dark to see if they had antlers or not. I am guessing at least two were not. One appeared a little smaller than the other two.
There use to be an elk farm on the North side of Rochester. I think the land had been sold and they planned on closing it down, but I heard they found a disease in one or a few of them and they had to kill the whole heard. :( What beautiful animals they were. :(

Awwww!!!!! I have a semi-sad deer story..... was driving to work yesterday and one must have been trying to cross the road and was limping... like it got hit sort of. Luckily it made it to the other side, not sure where she ended up though. :(

That is sad. :(
The one time I hit a deer, I barely caught the front corner of my car and all I could think about was the poor deer out there wounded. :(
