I miss printwest. It was a boring job but I was never like "uggghh I don't want to go to work maybe I can say my mom died or something...." I just went and it was fine and I didn't dread going either. I might ask if I can be a courtesy clerk instead or find a different job where I'm a courtesy clerk. I'm of the opinion that most cashiers are completely out of their minds, especially if they are like 60, full time, and have been there for like 30 years. You HAVE to be crazy to endure that.

Why don't you apply at like a nursing home or another print shop? They might pay better and are probably pretty relaxed. I agree, cashiers are crazy. Their brains must be numbed

Try applying at a nursing home in their laundry services or as a dietary aid. I know there is one in Saskatoon that seems to be always hiring and they start at $13-$14/hour.

They're not crazy, the just don't have any other skills and really need the money.
